I'm seeing more people (myself included) being more involved with the market, and if I get a few automated messages about an item I priced low, I ignore them.

this puts yourself into the risk of getting removed from poe.trade by the maintainer of this site (not ggg) and so from basically every trade in this game because it can be seen as you trying to manipulate the market with lowballing item prices and not selling.

if you ask people in the forums here, he does the right thing by doing so. and he has every right doing so because poe.trade is his property. *slow clap*

wtf is with you and your obsession with the guy holy fuck stop. You think hes going to ban everyone on sight or some shit.

3.13 was the pinnacle of PoE. IVYS+1 Gang 4 Life.
I am a tired dad, husband of two (or the other way around?) with occasional few hours every evening to relax by playing.

For types like me, this league is definitely a plus in fun factor. Right now, there are still things to strive for to keep us going (that perfect rare, that better weapon, that +1 corrupted gem etc.) but right now, there seem to be little to no "solid walls".

It is more like a stair now in place of that brick wall you were banging your head upon in some former leagues. If that is a good thing is everyone's opinion, but in my book, that was a step in right direction. The game is still somewhat hard in its endgame content (as in "ÖMG CRY no T15 sustainable map drop had to buy", "ROFL dat twinned vaal temple trio roxxorz me") but the progress curve for me (~casual daddy) is much smoother than before. It is a stair, not an elevator, though.

I see no "game split apart", to be honest. It DID become easier to obtain most of the uniques, true.
I think you still have to spend lot of currency to 5-6 link, roll, reroll, buy maps, craft...

So even if that clean shav is cheaper and a bit more common i don't think there's a huge difference in the end.
For an Emperor to be just, an Emperor must be patient.
Split me here, and split me there!

This league is the most positive thing that has happened in a very long time. The availability of items etc is enough for everyone to enjoy their own play style. "The man in the street" may even get to level several characters to high maps, and gets to enjoy a lot of what the game has to offer - previously gated by a lot of boring currency farming and playing the marked.

But of course, if I'v been one of those players, thriving for market control - only playing to get as rich as possible by trading, flipping and playing the market, I may not be this positive. But this league makes the game appeal to a wider audience, and that is not a bad thing - as long as the game still offers challenges for the real hard core players. And in my eyes it does, thinking about über Atziri and obscene rolled high tier maps - and of course the hunt for "perfect rare gear" and nice, corrupted items.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
Hi people!
Here is one thing that i'm worried about, since I play only HC.

I've checked up forum and google, but still can't find answer, maybe it's because of my madskillz in english.

If my char didn't die in PHC league, where he will be transferred after? To standart or to hardcore? And what about chest?

And it's hilarious! Suddenly, uniques are so easy to get that I've stashed up 5 tabs of them playing relatively slow clearing builds. Compare this to the fact I found 10 or 12 last time I played PoE. In half as much playing time, I've hoarded approximately 15x as many uniques (closer to 30x, including jewels). That's just wacky. I mean, uniques used to be rare and now they're everywhere. Cadiro has given me nice stuff like Drillneck, Thief's Ring, Aurseize (x3), Tabulas, unique maps, and mortals. The best part is they're so cheap, he's practically giving them away.

There was a straw poll recently where ~20% of people didn't want Perandus league folded into standard. I could care less, but if it does happen I'll get the popcorn out because the drama will be a blast. Heck, it already is. Chances are that the influx of uniques won't make any difference at all beyond a week or two because Perandus league almost feels like a different game altogether, and I bet plenty of players have noticed that and will leave with it.

In Perandus, there's a much higher chance that you might find stupidly rare stuff. It's like playing D2 and actually finding not one, but TWO zod runes. I remember getting so hyped over LOD's expanded crafting system, only to find out that most of it would never be available. It was a game made for a crowd, not an individual. I'd like to say I got my 0.0000465% enjoyment out of my share of a zod rune that went to some lucky fellow but for some reason I just never felt it.

Likewise, I don't really feel 0.0372% more satisfied when I spend a chrome trying for 4 or 5 off-colours just so I can PLAY a build. Every PoE character I have is buried with a tombstone that reads "Off-colours" - it's just not worth the hassle to try and beat the odds.

TL;DR: Perandus is fun, while base PoE has some self-defeating design. It's a game where you might have fun later but getting there requires a ridiculous commitment. Merging Perandus into standard will alienate Perandus lovers and anger PoE purists. They're too different.
