[2.2] 74k+ DPS Blood Magic Slayer Oro's Flicker Strike

Thanks for reply mate, great to know how to calculate damage :). Yesterday killed merci lab boss without an issue, although later i got cold sweat because of head spin.

@Trespeon, i think you need to know what content you can run to be safe while running in hc. I am level 80 with resist cap and 7k life with 6k armor but i did died to tier 8 boss (orchard).

Is Purity of Fire just a added precaution? its not 100 % needed right? depending on your fire resists, so i can cheap out and have a 5 socket Oros? :P

I don't think you will need Purity of Fire, maybe he was running some -resist map. if you look at the defensive picture there is no purity of Fire activated for his account, i am using similar setup and only using Anger, no other Auras.

With Flicker (lvl 18/q18) and Anger (lvl 16) my dps as per your calculation (with flask and charges)
6638x8.33=66388.33

But if i activate Blood rage (lvl 18) my dps is
7040x9.01=70409.01

So not sure why you didn't tried blood rage?

How exactly are u reaching 8 attacks per second? curious

I have Purity of Fire in my 6th socket to swap it for Anger (I'd also swap Fire Penetration for Fortify) when doing elemental reflect maps.

I didn't really want to sacrifice 4% life regen for some attack speed and I was keeping up Frenzy charges enough with ignites to where it never mattered. You can do it if you like, I just like life regen. :)

ok my calculation was wrong, i copied and paste in calculator and it came out wrong :).
6638x8.33=55294 not 66388.33
7040x9.01=63430 not 70409.01

Anyone who want to go HC route, just use caution (got rekt by Haast, Unrelenting Frost in -18 resist Tier 8 map).
