[2.3 Video Guide] CoC, Quill Rain, INSANE DPS Assassin [HC/SC Viable]

How about using a 6-link lioneye's vision and swapping the pierce support gem for some other spell, effectively turning it into a 7 link? It would cost a hell of a lot of chroma's though

Edit: scrap this, according to vorici calculator i would need about 58000 chromas on average to color this

Morning

I'm currently on lvl 72.
I wear all the gear for this build. Doing Crits of 80% plus for all 3 gems.
I need to know how do I proc the following gems.
1) Barrage lvl17 (In town 1.1K DPS)
2) EK on lvl17
3) Spark on lvl17
OK I run Anger+HoI.
At times I on shot mob's.
Then at times it takes time to kill the mobs.This i don't understand.

Gameplay:
Start HoI and Anger. Use Frenzy (as per build gems) when encountering bunch of mobs.
Then I use skill Barrage to kill mobs.
I see Frenzy goes up to 3 and Power charges goes up to 3. As long there are mobs to be killed charges stay up.

How can I keep momentum?

can someone explain me the interest of frenzy gem?

Since our dps come from the CoC setup, I don't understand how do we deal damage with a quillrain which frenzy which only deals phys damage and is not linked to spell gems?

I watched the video made over and over.
I came to the conclusion i'm missing something.

From the video i see at the top of the screen most righthand side.
Two green icons looks if someone is running.
Does anybody know the meaning of those icons. Is not Frenzy.
They always come in pair. After a while they disappear till next time.

Frenzy is to apply Assassin's Mark on enemies.
I still don't understand why so many passive points used to have more frenzy charge as it's a skill we use only to hit ennemies ONCE to make them cursed right?

So is there something I don't understand about this?
Each Frenzy Charge gives us 4% attack speed and, more importantly, 4% MORE damage. We using cursing Frenzy on every pack and with fast gameplay, we shouldn't have problem with keeping max frenzy charges. This gives us 24% more damage (1.24x multiplier) so its pretty powerful.


I have question about crit multiplier. Our spells have much lower crit chance than Barrage, so I thinking about this stat. Is Facebreaker/Maligaros a good choice when we have capped resists? What about removing Ungil's Harmony later? And about taking Throatseeker cluster (56% crit multi)?

Could someone post a screenshot DPS in town from the 3 Skill gems.
Barrage,EK and Spark.

I just want to compare against my setup.

How is Frezy and Power charge determined.

I see sometimes i get 1 Frenzy 0 Power Charge.
Next attack 5 Frenzy and 5 Power Charges. To maintain them momentum you need to get to the next set of mobs. Otherwise they time out.

how do you deal with mana with this build? mine just drains.
