First off the revenant corpse explosion is visable before it happens, it's like a redish curse looking thing, granted it's hard as hell to see if your doing anything but it does have a visible warning.
Second the skeletons that run with them are different from other skeletons, when you see a pack of them, you can bet the revenant isn't far behind. Now if you kill them off screen and don't realize they are there well I guess you know how they feel now.

GGG might as well just have an invisible, one-shot-kill mob that can randomly spawn every time you load a new instance. Give it a 0.1% chance to spawn and then tell people to assume responsibilty when they get killed by it because thats fun.
who cares if you die on soft core....
When it takes a lot of time to get 10% exp at lvl 92 (I cant imagine how people at higher levels deal with it) its a big set back - and it's just plain frustrating that the "solution" is to play tankier and tip toe around every corner and play at like 5% speed because thats fun??? No. I dont want to blindly steam roll content but at least make the things that are going to kill me fucking visible so I can do something about it.
GGG and their fucking design team - I swear to god.. how they let some things through QA is fucking beyond me. Sloppy, sloppy game design.

There are situations where its your fault and lack of knowledge/preparation/reaction time and there are times when the game crashes and you die.

If it's visible - its barely fucking noticeable. With all the shit going on on the screen like ground effects, extra gore, spells covering the screen etc - ITS A STUPID FUCKING DESIGN BY GGG IF SOMETHING THAT CAN 1 SHOT YOU IS FUCKING HIDDEN.
Im seriously so close to just vendoring like 1500 ex worth of stuff... so fucking tired of poor effort and dealing with shit mechanics from useless fucking game devs

Please do so.
You have been at this for a long time now. There is no excuse to being killed by something offscreen. Make a character not made of paper.

I'm not a defender of GGG but you're being ridiculous. If you had been more cautious you might have seen the difference in mobs. There is a noticeable difference between normal mobs and that often accompany the Revenant, as well as the notorious mark on the ground when they are going to explode. If you like to run as flash by maps, then there you have the deserved result... Anyway go slow and look at everything does not guarantee immortality, but at least you save the useless claim in a forum.
I'm a Marauder lvl 95 standard. I do not like flying through the maps and I accustomed only to build on physical defense. I still dying occasionally but I do not claim for it. That is the way to lvl...
Anyway... We all know that if you want to go beyond the level 90 you must bleed a little. It is a path of suffering that is not made for everyone. Now you know why...
Bethesda is known for having good ideas and terrible realization of them. GGG is a Bethesda subsidiary or what? Last edited by Actkqk#4579 on Mar 10, 2016, 10:49:42 PM

soo basically Roll 10k+ life build or dont ever get to be annoyed at the bullshit ways GGG creates stupid fucking "Fake" difficulty.
your game must have different rules than mine
I have much worse stats but I die once or twice per league max...
