Time and time again, this game finds absolutely ridiculous ways to punish/kill players and not in the fun Dark Souls kind of way where you can learn and adapt to, but instead in a WTF FIX YOUR FUCKING GAME GGG kind of way.
I could literally list 1000 ways that I've died to absolute, beyond my control, fucking bogus deaths in this game and I think I've finally had it. I just died because an off-screen revenant casted detonate dead on a pack that i had just cleared and had to walk through to get into the next room. Like - I CANT SEE THE FUCKING REVENANT OR ANY SIGN THAT THE COPRSES WILL EXPLODE SO HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!?! Absolute fucking bullshit death and theres nothing I could have fucking done. I encounter this exact type of bullshit at least 10+times a week playing PoE. Normally, I dont care because Once i hit lvl 90-92 I stop caring about exp but after trying to give 93 a run (With 300ex+ fucking gear) Im beyond frustrated at the 10 times-12 times I'ved died to shit that couldnt be controlled for or prevented. FUCK THIS GAME AND THE XP PENALTY. " look, the revenant there doesn't want you to actually know he is going to blow up the corpses. If you did then he would have lost the initiative. All according to his plan. GGG might as well just have an invisible, one-shot-kill mob that can randomly spawn every time you load a new instance. Give it a 0.1% chance to spawn and then tell people to assume responsibilty when they get killed by it because thats fun.

i have 5k life, 1k es, Acrobatics/spell dodge, 50% evasion, 20% armor, with 5 endurance charges up all times, CWDT IC, triple curse blasphemy running 70%increased effectiveness Temporal Chains, Enfeeble and Warlords mark with AoE that pretty much covers my screen.
Ya, my defenses are lacking - fucking eye roll. soo basically Roll 10k+ life build or dont ever get to be annoyed at the bullshit ways GGG creates stupid fucking "Fake" difficulty. |
