Sorry if I've sort of taken this statement out of context. But I've heard a similar sentiment from others.

From the perspective of most of the suggestions in the OP the statement is true that the 3.0 release didn't make any changes along those lines. I think what is going on is that GGG has their long range plan or road-map for PoE. I have to agree with their decision to add 6 acts before going back and fixing the previous labyrinth screw-up. Due to limited resources the only kind of thing that could be done on labyrinth is what they appear to have done in the 3.0 beta. That is reducing the bad content in normal and cruel. It is also true the points that people are making that labyrinth will be the only place in the great PoE content where normal and cruel are still things. So from that perspective, 3.0 has screwed up the lore of labyrinth to be downright stupid.

Again, on the positive side, it seems clear that GGG recognizes the labyrinth is problematic and they are doing their best to address it. It also seems clear that they will continue to do more.

I vote for rework the lab, NOT to set them available through all those trials BUT to require act 8 to do ALL difficulties, as even lowest labyrinth WILL be as hard as map tier 2 already.

I move they pull the lab out and make it a completely new game. Based on the Lab lovers comments no one would play POE but the 3 of us.

Clearly this is the future of ARPGS so go full retard!

Even if they do this and never do any more development or seasons , POE will be a magnitude better than now.

Even better do both until the LAB game fails due to no one liking that super bad content.

It seems clear to me these changes in 3.0 to the lab is as far as they are going to do. Only time will tell if this is the case, but I have a feeling like it will be.
