Quick question, on repentance vs death door boots.

Which would you use if you could use just one, due to required gear stats. Not sure how much dps difference there would be. If very similar I would go boots... but I am not an expert, first time doing a mjolner build or a build stacking endurance charges.

my vote goes for gloves.

Wasn't sure if the 84% increased spell dmg less the reduced spell damage would be worth it. Over the 8->9 charges for... just over 10% more dmg, plus 6% increased dmg. Then the extra defense.

Thanks man! great guide

2) Could be if you have jevels with mana on hit.

This gave me another crazy idea. Intuitive Leap in the bottom Jewel socket. Now you can drop the useless Endurance Charge duration node, and pick up Revelry (+2 Mana for each enemy hit by your attacks) and Cloth and Chain, which is an incredibly efficient node with Iron Reflexes.

Hey, nice build! What are the rolls you have to aim for on the romira's?

ok my two cents

i tried out this build now, getting the elemental penetration nodes on the left tree part of templar region instead of witch's fire nodes, as i very like the colorful blasts of Arc.

- playing in mjölner with Arc-Discharge-controlled destruction (for bosses 2x discharge+CD). I feel like my crits don't proc often enough to refill my bottles sufficiently... maybe Elemental Focus is better? will it deplete my ability to shock via Arc? would be bad.

- tried out alpha's howl with the common setup: 2x purities, 1x grace. i did feel like i have too much physical mitigation, also i don't need so insane elemental overcap for 2 resis so i went for another thing.
as i still have this
Spoiler

i am running now dual curse with Enfeeble+Temp Chain (+1 curse via top left tree corner) & purity of lightning. it feels much more safer to me, everything is soo slow.

- CWDT:
Spoiler
(blue slot is just for fast-switching spell gems)
Consequence of this setup: i don't have a movement attack, but i dont really care lol because i run shield charge. thanks to almost perma-moltenshell i get a lot phys mitigation back

so far i did uber izaro (ez facetank slam with 2H hammer) and atziri (all bosses facetanking, except the very hard spells from atziri ofc). Next challenge for me is uber atziri, the damage is totally enough although im only lvl82 and there's still some more room to evolve.
maybe Rico's idea behind the hardcore-phys-mitigation concept is to tank mainly the malachai in core, duno. so far i feel immortal, even in T15s (did not try out Core tho)

Respeced to your build, and will probably try the changes you made in your youtube video(the uber atziri explanation one).I strongly suggest everyone who can,to 6 link the kingsguard, and put 20/20 Life gained on hit, once the orbs start dropping, the heal from this gem is absolutely retarded. You will not die as long as you hit.

Anyway, very fun and extremely strong build.

Damn, this is the most fun and tanky build I've ever done. Thanks for the guide!

I did make some changes for to make it a lot more tanky, but with a bit less damage.

Ideas taken from thread 1700808
- Use cwdt(lvl1) - IC - discharge - blade vortex for fast life gain when you get hit
- Use 3 trigger gems vengeance - riposte - reckoning

Own changes:
Switch to double curse:
- Enhance lvl4 - Inc aoe - temp chains - Blasphemy in +1 gems gloves
- Blasphemy - Enfeeble (or flammability/Ele weakness for more damage) in other piece of gear
- Take 40% curse effectiveness from tree
- Get 30% temp chains enchant on helmet

Result:
- All enemies are slow capped at 75%
- Bosses are slowed >61% Makes (Uber) Atziri a lot easier. No curse reflect issue since we're immune to TC because of Ascendancy point.
- pvp players are slowed by around 73%, or close to 75% with a 23Q TC.
- Walk in room, wait for monsters to attack, gems trigget and cwdt, everything is dead
- AFK killed T11 Crema boss with this setup

Gear and tree can be found by checking character EQTankyness
