Started testing CI in Standard, this is the first tree I planned out, it gets +1 curse from the passive tree and doesn't get Arcane Chemistry which means there will only be 2 uses of unique flasks, here is the gear and tree:


About 10k ES, similar DPS to the life version, can use more utility flasks, is vulnerable to stun/freeze. Killed Rigwald and did a 42% pack size triple cursed Shipyard without using Chayula though and didn't notice getting stunned too much. Mana and mana regen is lower than the life version and so I may go back to using Vaal Clarity or a flask before bosses, although Vaal Discipline is also good from a defensive stand point, but can't have too many vaal gems.

The other version I am thinking of would need to get a +1 curse amulet to be able to get Arcane Chemistry, have about 25% less ES on the passive tree and a bit more %Evasion that would only be utilised if I used a Jade Flask:

How do you feel about temp chains in the curse on hit set up?

Temp chains is fine if you prefer it over Enfeeble, I only use Vulnerability when I really want to DPS a boss down quickly. You have freedom to chose your second curse, I didn't die going from level 92 to 93 and I'd put some of that down to using Enfeeble.

Am i ready for atziri and the other bosses?

peak defence with 3 end charges rumis and the jade of reflexes. peak offence with 6 power charges and atziris promise. sitting at 4.55k hp and 486 es.

Well, i tried atziri. I'm not sure if i just don't know the fight or if im not tanky enough buy twice i got instantly one shot when i entered, so that was a rough experience.

tried it again knowing the mechanics, pretty easy. time for uber atziri.

How about uber atziri? or do i need more life

Congrats man, my first attempts at Atziri back when it released were quite rough as well, good to see you managed to do it. You want to take a Ruby flask for the Trio and the Atziri fight itself.

Uber Atziri is quite a big step up in damage and life of the bosses so you would want to at least be level 90 with about 5.5-6k life.

There are ways of getting fragments yourself - you want to get maps that have 3 bosses and then roll twinned on them and corrupt them hoping that they don't re-roll, the best is Arena still, but Racecourse and maybe even Vaal Pyramid could be okay. Atziri isn't very profitable to run after the first week, the Sceptres used to sell for 30+ chaos and now they are only 4, so it's not worth buying sets, but it's fun to do ones that you find during mapping/corrupting maps.

Was asking more in terms of the mortal pieces, those still seem to fetch a pretty penny.

True, Ignorance and Hope seem to have some demand - I'd say the main drive for the Uber is the Axe they are fetching around 10ex minimum while the gloves are only 12.5ex and they are the rarest. I'd say if you sold Hope and Ignorance you could make a small profit, although it's RNG based.

sadly i cant afford a cospris yet so i cant find a way to apply poison. What do i need to switch in the gems to get more dps out?

You can apply poison with the poison gem - so using Tabula your 6L would be:

BV + Echo + Controlled + AoE + Poison + Added Fire
