You need Premium Stash for new trade system?

I need more purple titles
That really sucks. I've bought a lot of stash tab bundles but all of them are normal ones.

I feel a little like I'm being blackmailed to buy premium stash tabs.

This is also a whole lot worse for new players who aren't familiar with tools like procurement and acquisition.

If you do need premium stash tabs for the new public tab to work, this is an EXTREMELY poor decision on GGG's part.

That depends entirely on how they handle this.

They could provide all accounts with a fifth tab that's a premium for example. The game has expanded a lot on the item front where a 5th tab per account seems fitting, making it a premium to introduce the trading system to new players could be a good move.

And like Ocylix pointed out, the old indexing systems will still function like they do now, so your are in fact paying for convenience.

Which is essentially what the premium tabs are, convenience.

I understand the disgruntled people, but i can't help but feel happy that there is an alternative to manually making my shop now. Which i did for 3 years long btw so i would never forget this game desperately needs what is currently being implemented.

Never used procurement or acquisition and i managed just fine in league's. Just took time.

Peace,

edit : that's some front page click-bait Ocylix :)

Well the old tools might not be supported by 3rd party sites in the future so I don't think that closes the discussion. ZiggyD suggested a 1premium/3normal tab for every account to mitigate all the salt. I think it's a reasonable suggestion.

It has been suggested in trade announcement topic aswell and it make a lot of sense actualy. Missing the word oh yeah i think i got it: FAIR

At this point these changes even with the premium thing are great and was more than expected by a large part of PoE userbase.

Yes there are plenty of ways to salvage the situation.

But the main point is, why did they have to fuck it up to begin with?

And on the second part, yes the old tools still exist, but for players who don't know about the tools (i.e. new players) this is a big punch to the face.
Buy some tabs. Seriously though.

Just buy some tabs.

Seriously though.... just grab some tabs?

Skip the big mac for one day of the week.
Don't grab that case of beer for one week.
Skip on that juicy steak you've been eyeing up.

I await the flames, but seriously now.. just support the game to some degree instead of wanting handouts and improvements to a game and expect to not pay. F2P doesn't really exist.

1) to improve the overall trading system?

Can you honestly say this is not a big improvement between the current implementation. For me this means i can simply stay in the game while making my shop, greatly reducing the time to do it.

No more putting a manual tag under every single item in a thread with over 200 items, yes please?

2) Are you talking about the players that don't trade? How would this effect them exactly.

Or are you somehow saying it is currently less of a punch in their face? That makes absolutely no sense.

The only fair concern currently is that the trading indexers and tools will not be maintained in the future if this system is very solid.

Then again, i have faith in the massive amount of free-loaders to keep them alive. Call me an optimist.

How is this a big punch in the face? They are taking nothing away and adding a new thing. It's not like trading was easy for new players in the past. If they wanted to learn the 3rd party systems, they could do so. They still can. Or they could avoid all the hassle for like, 3 dollars. *THREE DOLLARS.*
