If the point of the thread is to say "please don't shy away from nudity", then I guess I'm on board with it. By no means should GGG feel the need to avoid nudity and/or sexiness.
However, if the point of the thread is to say "please put more nudity/sexiness", then I'm opposed to it. Nudity is there for a purpose, whether it is to tell something about the world, for character development, or even for purely artistical reasons. For example, if there was a female version of the Marauder, then it would make sense for her to be bare-breasts. However, I can hardly imagine any chestpiece armour where it would make sense to let a nipple poke out. It the armour itself cannot cover that part, then the person wearing it would probably be keeping her clothes underneath. And I'd rather avoid the chainmail-bikini syndrome: if some part of the body is left unprotected for esthetical purposes, then it's probably not a viable armour. In xrook's second image, armours 1, 3 and 4 seem ok, armour 2 makes no sense, and the fifth character isn't wearing armour. |

and bronn's lithe or foxshade arnt cladded in armor either, oh not to mention tabularasa, why are poeple so nit picky? noone said it has to be copy and pasted into the game, if GGG is ever to add a 'light' armor it will be their design

" That doesn't make what she's wearing armour. Even if, for some obscure reason (magic), those light clothes happened to provide any resistance to attacks, there are way too many openings to protect someone properly. PS: even the "clothes" denomination may be too much, as I wouldn't be confident she wouldn't get arrested by the police when walking in the streets with that outfit. |
