That nudity is ok doesn't mean sexy is ok for this game. PoE tries to differentiate themselves stylistically from other RPGs in the market.

Well it all depends on your definition of what's "dark and gritty" and what's "sexy". Tight, black leather, for example, is both. Thematically it fits too, it's exactly the kind of thing the aforementioned shadow and witch edge-lords would like.

And sexiness itself isn't a foreign concept in Wraeclast. Listen to how Hargan talks about Maramoa. Or how Piety talks about the duelist. Her dying words are, and I'm paraphrasing a little here, "Damn, this duelist has a really nice arse."

So calm down and stop insinuating that the OP wants to turn this into a hentai point-and-click.

imo the problem was, although there is nudity in the game, the user interface with the half nudes would appear in every news screenshot and advertiser for new xpacs, repelling the prude part of certain countries who have no problem letting their kids do brutal games but refuse to let them play games where they could see a bare breast.

^in all those situations those atributes are more informed than explicitly showed (I'm playing duellist now, so I know what are you talking about). It's more about characterization than cheap titillation. Also, I'm not expecting a hentai, just gratuitous sexy costumes or something. I just say no.

The angel wings and the seraphim armor made people complain a lot. New armors are not as excessive because of that (feel free to correct me, though).

I actually liked the globe girls, but not for titillation reasons. GGG probably didn't intend the reactions that some people got (be rage about the removal or rage about their existence), and until they were removed almost no one gave a fuck. That's a borderline situation, really.

Apparently I'm coming across poorly here. I think there's a misunderstanding over what I mean when I say PoE could benefit from some sexing up.

Let's start with what I don't mean. What I don't mean is erotic content, nor anything that resembles erotic content. And if I thought I read a suggestion advocating for something along those lines, I might react in a similar way to how you did. But that wasn't what I meant, and I don't think, if you look, that anything I wrote can properly be interpreted that way on its own.

What I do mean by "sexing up PoE" is actually a pretty small deal that shouldn't raise any hackles of moral outrage: MTXs that celebrate sexuality and flaunt it a little.

I understand why you might cast your aspersions... (I don't think I've ever been called prurient before, so that's a fun first)... but, really, if you left your presuppositions at the door you might be less quick to accuse me of being a purveyor of lascivious or salacious attitudes, and instead see that it's a fun, harmless suggestion that might appeal to a fair number of people.

Consider: When a bunch of guys or girls go out for a night and want to look sexy, that doesn't mean they're licentious or intend on carousing/etc. Sexiness isn't something dirty.

TL;DR? You're reading a lot into what I said when I said relatively little, and what I actually said was completely reasonable.

either way this game has too much bulky armor (MTX), id like to see something like a light, high maneuverability armor for myself
