Sex Up PoE

Hello,

Suggestion: Sex Up PoE.
Precedent: A3 already has tittie monsters and a (rather large) fully nude male statue.
Benefit: revealing/suggestive MTXs would sell like hotcakes.

Curious: why are you against this? I understand it doesn't appeal to your personal tastes... But no one would force you to sexify your characters. And do you mind encountering the tittie monsters in A3, or that red nude statue? If not, how is the occasional risque model in town any different of an experience from the occasional unclad/underclad Exile?

They already removed the globe girls with 2.0 ... I think you will see even less 'sex' in the future :>

Orb Girls weren't removed because they were too sexy. (Didn't GGG say it was just a change they sort of arbitrarily made, which didn't have anything to do with the Orb Girls themselves?)

Yeah they totally weren't removed because a large thread on the feedback forums had people crying about them for the longest time.

Obviously they were removed because of that thread, if your looking for a game that puts more nude style stuff into it, this one isn't likely that game, if anything @kcstar is right they are likely more to remove then add these types of things.

The A3 monsters are nude, but they are not titillating, except in the view of people like you (nudity doesn't mean sex, just for your knowledge).

Look, I don't have a problem with sexy and/or porn content in media per se, but it's fucking overrepresented currently (sexy should be niche, not the fucking norm), and this is the last game that should whore up for a quick buck.

There were more complaints when they got removed. GGG even reverted the removal the first time they tried it. But sure, go on believing the change was over some trivial complaint thread and not GGG exercising their artistic license.

Regarding the OP. Nudity is fine to an extent, but the goal shouldn't be to "sex things up". It should be used where it makes sense. The statues are clearly designed to make people think of an ancient Greek/Roman like culture. Other instances of nudity like the miscreations are just about setting the tone. Piety experimented on people by cutting them up and putting gems into them, she wouldn't care about dressing them up nicely again once she was finished. They also provide additional shock value which is very much in theme with the zone.

The nudity that PoE uses is for artistic reasons, not horny teenager reasons and I think that is a good thing. If you want to turn your video game into a porno, I'm sure there's a Skyrim mod for that.

As for piety and her piles of bodies that strongly remind me of images of concentration camps - I would find the mere idea of anyone going in there wearing "revealing" clothing repulsive, and would not want to be part of a game where that is a thing.


BTW I use some of the nude statues in my battle-scarred hideout specifically for that Roman / Greek theme, which they fit very well.
