Just to be clear: labyrinths

Do softcore players get infinite tries, and HC only 1?
Or is a daily lab run over even for softcore players once failed?

Deaths are real in the labyrinth... so if you die in HC you get to start over. Hope the labyrinth isn't simply a death-trap. If so, I'll lose interest in it quite rapidly.

PoE people pride themselves to be true hardcore yet don't want anything somewhat challenging to exist in this fucking game just boggles me.

Besides unlike Diablo, PoE doesn't even have true character death. If you fail at labyrinth in HC you can use the same character and try again in SC in the exactly same toon and gear until you learned how to play properly and then go back to HC and level a toon and try again.
The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change.

Welcome to PoE.

You die in HC you die forever not a hard concept. Of course SC has infinite tries.

Ofcourse we should die from the labyrinth in HC. Otherwise we wouldnt do it? I dont alt F4 anyhow. So it's just like everything else, except for tps.

Edit: Think I misunderstood, sorry.

He is clearly asking about the 1 try per day limit. For example if you die in a Haku daily mission you can try again, assuming there is time left if it is a timed one. I am pretty sure they mentioned somewhere you only get 1-shot per day at labyrinth. So no dying in softcore, no alt-f4 in either or you are finished with the labyrinth for that day. I don't have a source maybe I can find it again.

Here is a source, not crystal clear but I'm pretty sure it's saying die and you have to wait a day.

Dying in a hardcore league (in or out of the Labyrinth) will kill your character and move it to a standard league. Dying in a standard league will remove you from the Labyrinth. You then have to try a new attempt of the Labyrinth.

This is false, you have as many try's as you desire every single day if you have the labyrinth unlocked.
(did all trials in that difficulty)

Death in hc is permanent, death in softcore will force you to start over from nothing to attempt the labyrinth.

I wish that the labyrinths weren't hardcore. It would be nice to actually have something hard enough in the game that you would expect failure the first few times. If the labyrinthe is easy enough that most people would expect to servive then there isn't enough of a challenge for me.
ahh thanks Boem I thought it was a once a day, I guess it's only 1-completion per day then or am I mistaken on that too?

Mistaken, you can do the labyrinth as many times as you wish.

That's why they are making a leaderboard for it, so people can share intel and do multiple runs trying to improve their own time or that of the current leader position.

The only pre-requisite that i know of is having done all of the trials which allow you to enter.

At least that's what i got from all of the info released so far. I am 95% certain about that info though, leaving a gracious 5% if i missed a tidbit somewhere :')

But i would question the implementation of a leader-board if they don't want people to compete against one another on a daily basis. And a single "gogo lucky" run of the labyrinth doesn't seem very competitive to me.
