Are you a core player?

Getting to hate this argument over three stupid letters. Games are games. Someone wants to call this one an MMO and all hell breaks loose. It's a stupid fight.

"p Are you even a player? Honestly curious since I expected something along the lines of "Blah blah blah Challenge Leagues should be void" instead of an actual answer to OP And for you OP ![]() Recruiting for Archnemesis League/Siege of the Atlas!

core player, did all temp leagues, enjoyed them all.
never got burned out because my stakes aren't that high, it's just having fun playing casually, keeping myself busy micromanaging my little game world and having interesting converations with strangers and guildies. poe is a "give and take"-game for me. keeping the ingame progress slow is rather easy in poe, just rarely trade. i saw alot of fellow players come and go, it's a natural thing, nothing to worry about and i enjoy it when i see some of them coming back after some time. what also keeps me in the game is that i always trust ggg to not only coming up with some crazy ideas but also just do them. those guys rock, also on a personal level. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! Love how the OP's topic gets morphed into an 'is this an mmo' argument.
<3 interwebs (btw it is, thank you once again economy! the 'instances' having 'massive' players interacting together are of course leagues in this game's case - and the mtx model depends on this being an mmo to some significant extent as well - envy the improbable ice crystals in my coastal hideout bitches!) OT: I remember when this happened for FFXI watching first hand the game transition into its twilight years and imho PoE is many years from that. I would love to see some statistics by region on how many challenge leagues people tend to play before they quit and what percent of the population that is. It would be interesting to see what percent of the population when a challenge league starts out ends up 'core' vs newer player. Last edited by GeorgAnatoly#4189 on Feb 17, 2016, 10:08:23 AM

Think i would qualify as a core player, maybe not in terms of overall hours played but i have been playing since before you could buy into the closed beta and i'm still playing...and will continue to play.
