The same as Eski: Orange Fai unplayable in each EU Gateway, i have to log on Whas-D.C for avoid some lag 'n freeze.

guys you should just change isp the problem seems to come from orange not the gateway, i m from france, and the ping is the same in amsterdam or london gateway around 45, i m pretty sure the ping would be same with a french server. my isp is sfr, wihch i dont like very much, the best isp i had was numericable it was the best for gaming, with a better latency that i have now (around 30 ) and very stable. also free isp was unplayable for me like you with orange.

you choosed a shit ISP and ask a new server ? blame yourself.
And a new server won't change anything.
I am using Free and have perfect latency in Amsterdam, London or Frankfurt, all below 30 ms.

GGG should put more ressources to optimize their game engine rather than in network.

Since Christmas started it's impossible for me to play , i have a lot of lag spike, desync then disconnection....

So GGG please do something..

Now that you mention it,I have lag spikes since the beginning of the month.

The fact is Orange france telecom should be the best ISP, anyway, i am not feeling fair that's people got 12-20ms and some other 40+ when all is fine, and 60+/1000 when you have France Telecom Orange with cogent/opentransit issue.
If server was in France , there is no more issue, all would be kinda happy. Changing ISP for a game... it's like a hard method.

Have you tried doing a tracert to see exactly where the problems are occuring and/or contacting your ISP/GGG support to see if there's anything that can be done? Adding a whole new server isn't exactly cheap or easy, so it'd probably only be a last resort option for them. Could be a lot of easier ways to fix things though.

Problem come from Orange FAI, it's not server wise.

I don't know what to do, not wanna change FAI because of a game but i'm getting more and more upset about Orange's server interaction with videogames generally.

Maybe that it's time to change ...

I'm french too, I'm at Orange too, and...I have ~30ms ping on the EU gateways so...
(And no, I don't have fiber :'()

So yeah, not a problem with the gateways themselves.
