What is your problem Lask? Seriously, do you treat people like this at the local coffee shop?
I just logged in after an hour break for supper and my currency in my stash is gone as well as all the stuff in my player inventory. All gems, gear and gear on my character are all intact. Why would a hacker take small scale alteration shards and a few chaos and 2 gcp and leave all my leveled gems and uniques etc.? It makes no sense. I think GGG has a problem with their servers on their end. I just installed windows a few months ago and I sure haven't been to any weird sites. What I figured. GGG doesn't do anything. Emailed the following: I'm really sorry, but we're not able to recover any items stolen by other players. Chris wrote up a long post about this which explains common ways players have items stolen, how they can keep safe and what we're going to do to make it safer for them. It also explains why we have a policy of no item restoration. My account was cleared of items aswell.
I had a random chinese fellow add me to friends on sunday (I thought it was a party request from a mate) I was unable to remove him from friends and yeah today my accounts items were gone and he wasn't on my friends list anymore. IIRC Diablo 3 had the same issue with public matches and account security. I didn't have that problem due to authenticator which this game clearly needs. |
