I've added a Paris gateway. Could you see if that gives better performance?

" You don't understand that the problem is not the latency but the packets loss. There is no difference between Paris, Milan, Frankfurt, and so on ! I got about the same latency on all gateways (50-100ms for all EU gateways), but i also got a lot of packets lost on these gateways (which make the game unplayable : freeze, stuttering....) The only way to play since 4 monthes on my side is to connect through US gateways, just because then we can avoid the server that causes the loss of packets. You say it's Orange fault Orange says it's your fault The customer is screwed..... I am waiting before buying any more supporter packs, because i won't support a game i can't play. So between a Paris gateway at 50ms and a US gateway at 150ms, unfortunately, the only way to be able to play is to choose the 150ms. As long as the EU gateways will use this routes, you can add tons of other gateways, the issue won't be resolved. EU gateway 216 packets sent, 189 received, US gateway : 138 packets sent, 138 packets received. After 4 monthes and tons of reports, this is the only answer you gave us....Try Paris gateway, which is the same crap ! It's like if my car's engine was broken and you change tires, do you think it will resolve the issue? Pour moi impossible de joué sur franckfurt entre 18h et 22h mais en journée ou le matin y'a pas de souci les autres serveur c'est pareil y'a que aux heures de pointe ou j'ai des pick de ping.
Pour le moment sur paris j'ai de temps en temps de pointe de ping mais c'est bien mieux que sur les autres serveurs et ca reste rare a voir sur le long terme. Après Zzabur le problème avec orange ce trouve toujours dans les même heures soit le week end ou entre 18/22h, impossible de regardé twitch en high alors que avant 18h tu peut etc... Le problème c'est juste orange et pas GGG. Pour le moment paris fonctionne mieux que les autres serveurs a voir sur le long terme. Edit: Really thanks, after this one day with this gateway i can play in Lockstep. My ping is 30/60 maximum with litle time 60 more, but its really better in this gateway. " Je pense aussi que Orange est en grande partie responsable, y a qu'a voir sur leur forum comment les gens te répondent quand tu as un probleme de routing. Mais GGG a choisi un FAI de merde aussi, même si les choses s'améliorent depuis la sortie du serv parisien. Mais orange entre 18/22H c'est le double en latency chez moi aussi, après passer de 15 à 40 de ms n'est pas un drame, mais pour ceux qui sont touchés plus durement ça doit être gonflant, pour être passé par là depuis 6 mois, je pense que la seule solution c'est de se casser en masse d'orange, parce que leurs soucis de routing remontent à plus de 2 ans. " Tiens 3 mois après avec toujours les mêmes problèmes pour certains, ça rend encore son vieux troll encore plus ridicule à celui là. J'imagine qu'il a du sortir de chez lui depuis 3 mois :P. Pas ici pour rendre service ;).

" Yes, this! All the European gateways have quality latency, but suffers from packet loss on the networklayer hops. It is worse in the peak times, and can some nights make the game unplayable. ISP says they are all good, and winMTR also shows great connectivity on the first hops. It all starts on the networklayer hops. Maybe GGG is not responsible for this, but it doesnt matter who is to blame. Connectivity to your servers is not good in peak hours and my ISP cannot change that (even if the wanted to) |
