Hi. Sorry noob question. Isn't it better to use Increased Critical Damage gem as 6th link instead of Ethereal Knives since the CoC nerfs?

Playing this in BHC and have been using skin of the loyal for a budget 6link that gives decent ES, was wondering if going lowlife is good enough for this build considering the cost of shavs or does CI still match it for the most part.

Especialy since the nerf itr would be a really, really bad idea to CoC with only one Gem. The 0,5 Seconds cooldown of CoC is per Spell. So one Spell = 2 Casts per second, two Spells = 4b casts per second.

I have a LL Version of the Build but imho its not worth it, especialy in HC.

You trade alot of Defense in form of ES, Chaos immunity and Evasion for some more Damage.

If you want more damage and less defense i´ll recommend looking into the Assassin Version i posted here:

It uses the Assassin Ascendancy to gain 30% of Phys Damage as extra Chaos Damage with a Bleed on hit Vagan Dagger.

Other options are to use one or even 2 Mings Hearts, but that requires pretty GG Resist Gear as both Rings will be DPS only Slots.

If you don´t use it allready i highly recomend getting a Sins Rebirth Flask, its a amazaing damage boost for all Phys Damage builds and with 3 uses stored and long duration it can be kept up all the time!

I feel like im missing out on omsething that generates more shield... I have almost 4k buffed which I guess isnt anything to complain about but it feels like I could have more. This build has been really fun.

Hello, I'm actually never played CI builds,(except Pathfinder BV and it was rly bad:D)
i got some trouble in 5link without Ethereal knives, my life leech really bad. I got something like 89% crit chance on cyclone and 79% on BladeFall is it not enough for good life leech ?

Can anyone check my profile please, what i should to change first
If i take a 6L chest+Taste Of hate do i get leech boost/moar survivability ?

Your Gear, Tree and Gem Setups all seem fine to me, beside the obvious 6L that is missing.

So ye a 6L would give you lots more DPS and Leech.

I also don´t know what content we are talking about. Do you have trouble with normal Map clear,map Bosses or are we talking about T15-16 Map Bosses/Guardians?

I´d say maps to T12 should work fine on a 5L, above that its pretty normal that you need the DPS of a 6L.

A quick fix would be to use a Warlords Mark on CwdT for the 2% / 0,6% extra Leech.

If you are looking for a 6L i recommend looking for a Hybrid EV+ES Chest as colouring a Regalia is really hard. You will lose a bit ES but the Damage will make up for that!

You could also check your Dagger, you crafted no local crit chance on it, are you sure that your Cyclone is at 89%?

If not you should remove the spell damage and craft % Crit chance on the Dagger!
