dried lake, even when released, always reminds me of d3 act 3 alkaizer (sp?) runs [battlefield area or something like that]. same big open area space, really great pack density...even the mobs are *somewhat* similar. strikingly similar.
and yeah because of the big space its kinda bland-y. I actually think the docks or ledge or western forest or sins are far more 'kosher' poe areas that are/were fun to farm. they have flavor to it. dried lake is just...bland |

Dried lake to 100? I'm at 81 now, been grinding it solo since 65 or so. I made 2 exalt there today 1 dropped and the other a voltaxic rift that promptly sold.
Sound the dread alarm, through the primal body! Sound the reveille, to be or not to be. Rise! Stay the grand finale! Stay the reading of our swan song and epilogue. One drive to stay alive! Elementary, muster every fiber. Mobilize! Stay alive!

Lunaris my old love. I miss you so much. You dropped me my first tier one unique and tier 2 uniques beyond count. After 100s of hours with good old Piety you supplied me with the map base that has led directly to the map pool I still have today.
But now my dear Lunaris you are dead and gone. Other more fertile grounds have been found since your passing. First Sceptre and now The Dried Lake. But no one can fill the genocide blood pool shaped hole you left in my heart. Keep PoE2 Difficult.
