"Random" doesn't necessarily mean "evenly distributed". Results can be weighted and it's still random.

Only gonna buy one or two because I already have so many of the ice effects. Wish they would just put the new mtxs up for sale since they are already made. I just want the lynx, wolf and armor. Almost all of my characters are cold themed so I've been waiting on a cold armor set forever.

U are spot on, it is nice though people posting their results and of course u can get disappointed after spending 150+ points but u did the clicking :) and u knew u could be lucky or not.

I just bought 15 Boxes... And can't open them in the browser... that's pretty mean...

I bought five boxes, got then I bought another eight which turned out to be a whole lot of duplicate ice nova, arctic armour, northern lights and hideout ice.
Mystery boxes are awesome value for stuff you neither need nor want, but still feels great buying. Multiple identical skill mtx effects are a huge bore though, I'd much rather just get a buttload of so I can spend them like there's no tomorrow. Or a skill-mtx-for-pretty-shiny-lights swap scheme :D

25 Boxes. 1 Wolf Pet and the Arctic Boots Skin 2x.
The Rest only those Light effects or Skill Effects.
That sucks big time...

Update:

I am dumb.
Now I spent 600 Points.
And I now have 80 charges of this Northern Light Effects and 6 Arctic Armour Stormcloud Effect.
Great.
And those don't even stack correctly in my MTX Stash.
Such crap.
