[2.6] Milky's Righteous Fire Totems [cheap, SC/HC, Shaper, UberAtziri]

Chieftain is pretty bad. I would even say that its the worst class in the entire set.

- Tukohama gives fireimmunity for totems... which is somewhat nice but totally unnecassary. There arent any good dmg support gems for totem resists.
Taunt on hit doesnt work because the rf/sb totem doesnt hit.
fire dmg on hit is bad for EE, it would lower my dps.

- arahongui is ok, some dmg but not a reason to pick thia class

- The rest is totally useless / too bad to waste time reading those nodes


If there are some small totemlife nodes or similar my opinion may change

Yes, the only problem is that most of players roll this build as a templar. Who doesn't get anything good for rf totems =(


Ofc there are several ones that ive listed and that are new/changed

so far Berserker seems to be the strongest with a whooping 40% more multiplier, atk speed for movement skill and that warcry stuff.

All three Witch classes have something very good for us, Juggernaut is good for a very defensive character.

Hierophant is sweet (20-40% placementspeed, inc dmg on kill) with MoM.

Scion is still unrevealed but a potential option too.

for less duration you dont need fire immunity for the totem :D -64% duration with rapid decay will result in 3-3.5sec totems which is fine on everything other than chieftain.

empower only helps active gems not support gems. the rf gem could stay on lvl 1,the supportgems, especially spelltotem, are important.

If the on kill effects work from a totem, Occultist seems like a good choice for class, especially if going for a hybrid character with the energy shield node as the 6th point. This would allow for triple curse without using any items, which would be pretty great. The enemies take 10% increased damage if cursed is really a more multiplier. This is of course, assuming curses don't get "rebalanced" to be really bad (a major curse rework has been mentioned).
Cheiftan is still a solid pick. Forget fire immune totems. You can grab Moon's Presence (enemies near your totems deal 8% less dmg and take 16% inc fire damage), Flame's Advance (35% more dmg vs burning enemies) and Sun's Light for free Endurance charges. 5 End charges will be a considerable toughness boost (+1 from tree with 2 points, +1 from Merciless).

Alternatively you can go Witch, waste 4 passive points and get Necromancer. This lets you get Mistress of Sacrifice (Offerings also affect you, hello perma Flesh offering for speed and Bone for block/spell block). Next you can take Spirit Eater for 30% increased damage. Last 2 points are sort of useless, but hey, free Block.
A corrupted lvl 3 enhance is pretty cheap and would add - (0.5%)*16*3=24% increased damage.

Build differences -- Note: Nothing in Chieftan class was included other than mention of end charges
Defensive stuff -
Stats - +89 Str, -59 Int, -10 Dex
Base HP - +95 base HP(226 with inc), -34% inc max hp(177% -> 143)
Regen - -60% mana reg, -1 %hp/s (But with 5 endurance charges its +2.5)
+15% all ele res, +8% fire
+40% base armor
+2 end charges (8%ele + phys + 1%hp/s before Chieftan)

Totem Stats -
+20% dmg, +20% life, 8%phy red +16%ele (more def with end bonuses)

Dmg/Skill Mods -
+15% burning, +26%ele, -15%Radius of Aoe(ouch), -55% fire dmg(note totem buffs tho)

Curses -
-20% effect (4->3 curses by dropping doedre ring)
Kept the tri-curse + blasph + helm combo

Other stuff
+1 Jewel slot (2 skipping intu leap)
Spire of Stone is still 21% (70str) but moved near ancestral bond


TL;DR
- Slightly more damage but less radius.
- Similar HP with and without gear.
- More Defenses (Armor, hp%/s, ele%, phys% for my build though.
-- Means gearing more damage is possible
- -1 curse -effectiveness. (Your boot links feel wasteful)
- +2 Jewel slots hopefully not wasted(your jewels are sub-par at best).
- Ancestral Bond rush is worse
- Lets you pick marauder-chieftan

I do understand it's supposed to be a budget/cheap build btw. Let me know what guys you think.
