[2.6] Milky's Righteous Fire Totems [cheap, SC/HC, Shaper, UberAtziri]

well i would start with a big copy pasta and 5 reserved posts after the mainpost :p

i wanna keep the the first post about basicss and faq, then add one with guidance on mapping, bosses etc.

a section which shows different approaches to the build with skilltrees/gear and explanations is something i want to do.

there are different setups possible between a quick mapper (as quick as the build can at least), high tier boss farming, something balanced, different classes/defence types and so on.

a bigger leveling section would be nice, too.

i think splittig everything up makes it less confusing for newer player while it opens the possibility to go more into detail with other things.

3.0 scion changes seem pretty sweet for RFT.

Guardian + Necro seems like a cool combo on the build.

+ get tons of more skillpoints for totemlife jewels
+ supports well without heavy investment like other supports while able to solo all content
+ 25% red curse effect on your with dual kikazaru > curse immune but still curseable.
+ conduit, 5% block, 10% atk, cast, movementspeed, 30% inc dmg, 20% chaos res for everyone with just a lvl 1 clarity :P

- probably harder substain than chieftain/berserker

it will be the class for ppl partying on that build for sure

Don't know if OP done Chayula yet, but I can confirm that the timer and chayula itself is easily doable with that build. I've done it in LSC and died two times to Chayula, because it was the first time fighting him.
I think i killed chayula on the build in breach, but could've been something else.

overall breach domains are very easy for the build in general.

What is about "Totems are Immune to Fire Damage"? Or it`s doesn`t problem?
No its not a big deal.

they are still alive over 4 secs which is enough for most stuff. On bosses we can cycle 2 rf totems (only one deals damage anyways) all the time.

Its only worse in cases where the totems can receive heavy area damage like in breaches.

Hi, Milkyslice!
Thanks for this great guide!
I'm started my first HC char with RF totem build, 55lvl so far ))
Can you give me some next step gear/gems advise on my char (public profile, name DoubleFury)?
Now I'm farming currency for Lioneye's Remorse shield.
Thnx!

Well on this level it´s hard to tell :P

Basically rares in most slots.

rare boots with movementspeed + life + some resists
rare gloves with life and resists
a belt with 100+ life and resists
lioneyes remorse is a great defensive choice
belly already equipped
amulets and rings are shit, get life on those and some resists. Also some dex for rapid decay.
Hrimnors resolve as a helmet is preferable.

Before buying a lioneyes i would build a solid base with rare items first. Pretty cheap stuff should be aviable for 1-3c per piece

Thank you for previous post. Very helpful for lvl up. But i have one question. Why are you don`t use Increased Burning Damage Support?

It is currently a really bad support gem (might change in 3.0).

Inc Burning dmg is just a increased damage multiplier instead of a more damage multiplier like the other supports we use. Stacking more multipliers is in almost any case stronger.

Quick Math: our skill deals 1000 fire dot damage, we got 400% increased damage on the skilltree/gear

no supportgem: 1000 x 5 = 5000 dmg

inc burning damage (69% increased damage): 1000 x 5.69 = 5690 dmg

rapid decay (39% more dmg): 1000 x 5 x 1.39 = 6950 dmg

increased burning damage is only better if you got like no increased damage at all... or not the correct colors to use something else :P
