You can't really run greeds 5 link with item rarity at the same time, you lose either tons of damage if you swap out any of the gems linked to rf or the rarity.

I am currently doing this build in PHC. I've been doing ok so far, but I've gotten to the point where I want to start doing maps and I want to start playing/building more defensively.

I am still running flammability, blasphemy and purity of fire. I see that some others are running different auras. What defensive auras should I switch out to? I have recently start lvling up determination and grace gems.

My gear isn't the best right now, I need to buy more things that give dex so I can use Daresso's Passion.

I was here a couple days ago asking noob questions at low level. I'm 81 now and really enjoying this build. Chieftain really synergizes with this way way more than flame totem.
Sovereignty node is really good as well, I don't see many picking that up in this build. With full points in to sovereignty I have 60 mana left over with triple curse and can take off some blood magic gems, which makes room for more gem combinations. I'm doing t9 maps and feel really unstoppable with triple curses. I'm always in melee range. Ran a lot of chain, projectiles and vul maps with more damage mods added, PHC.

thanks for this great guide.

I made some improvement of this build considering my game play and loots :
1 - i play with blasphemy + temporal chain + enfeeble + determination (-10% mana reduced in helmet)
I consider that determination is very usfull in this build if you use a armor chest (not the carcass). I craft my belly for the moment without result.
2 - i play with 3 cruses and 1 curse on hit with orbe of storm (necessary to proc elemental overload)
3 - i play with hiden potential + 4 magic item => 100% increased dmg!!!

With this build i killed deathless atziri and twninned boss T15. I will gain some lev to obtain 6.5k hp with the belly and i will go to uber, the set is ready.

Do you see some improvement of my build ?

Hidden potential is a good option.

You should go for a pure armour chest if you wanna run determination, belly has pretty low armour, you would benefit more from a good armour chest.

nothing against the cursechoices and a curse on hit setup ;)

having hight amount of armor never helped me with rippy stuff.
never bothered about it past like 50-60 mitigation.
it does nothing at really rippy situations and the only situation it is useful - ambrius blades and trio phys damage tar. but it's like usable in 2 situations in whole game, that you can easily avoid by paying more attention to movement. it's pointless to stack it same way you stack eva.
