It seems pretty reasonable to me. Since we're having to build a wall to keep out their citizens, and considering they're looking at getting their ass handed to them majorly on trade if they don't comply.

There are things Trump could do to secure the border prior to the wall being built. Sending more National Guard troops to the border as well as hiring more border patrol agents would go a long way. And get E-verify working like it should. All those fake IDs floating around and using SS#s of dead people are going to instantly be moot. Employers who don't use E-verify and hire illegals anyway need to git rekt. Hard. Like completely draconian fines like $50k per illegal immigrant hired.

In a few places it will be a substantial wall. In other places it will be a double pedestrian fence. In some places, it will be more drones and/or surveillance balloons.

It will be similar to what was supposed to happen with legislation passed back in 2006 - the Secure Fence act, except that it will cover the entire southern border, rather than just 700 miles.

Considering that the ACA (Obamacare) now encompasses roughly 20,000 pages, keeping 2 things isn't what you or the MSM is claiming. It is more like a hitman telling a target that he won't hurt the target's thumbs.
