Undying Alchemist and Undying Incinerator

Yes, they can be very hard at times, if you don't get to them fast enough to kill them off. That's one of the reasons I love flicker strike. It gets you there fast :D.

Playing carefully in areas that are known to spawn those monsters is also a great way to increase chances of surviving.

I had a warf with 20 alchemists at the entrance. It was doable, but looked like WWIII
The unfair thing is, they can throw and target their projectiles basicly "on the fly", meaning run away does not help much because the projectiles always try to impact at your current position even if you move. GGG made some really mean Monsters in PoE. :D

The bomb makes a poison cloud. Get out of it.
the biggest problem with them isnt really the raw damage (although its very high, especially by incinerators, but with high (79+) resists and maybe arctic armor you can mitigate that)

its the fact that its raw damage is aoe AND they spread degen/DoT that further hurts. it also kills your totems/minions fast.

and if you get a bad mob/map mod combo (lets say, hasted, GMP/LMP, increase damage) you're in for a world of pain as shotgunning + dots become extremely dangerous

Im pretty sure incinerators throw bombs at a place.

alchemists have a better aim, but its still not quite on the fly imo. but maybe Im wrong, Ill have to pay closer attention. they definitely throw them fast though.
The only thing that bothers me is how hard it is to see poison clouds in dark areas.

What I find strange is people maintain that their damage is too high, or that they are somehow broken. Many people can deal with them just fine. If they can, why can't you? Work on your build, or your gear, or your play style.

I definitely agree, I dont think theyre broken. They are glass cannons so they're balanced.

both are some of the very few mobs that keep people on their toes.

Yes, they throw the bombs at a place but for example when you stand at point A and they start to throw at you and you start running to point B while the projectile is in the air, it doesn't impact at point A but at your current position if possible. I've tested this and it's pretty mean. They also have a pretty fast attack speed, especialy tha Champion and rare versions of these mobs.
At least they die fast so they are not that unfair. Same reason why I don't use them as spectres by the way, even if they are pretty good spectres in theory.
Been heavily nerfed since, since before their chaos DOT was absolutely insane. But hey it was stationary, so unless you desynced or were super slowed by chains, frozen and slow aura you had no excuse.
