:) i'm a return player of poe -.-" has been awhile "a lot updates"...I looked most of the popular build..and currently I'm playing TS ranger.But I want to reroll into new class. Back then, I played the cyclone CoC EK build :x it was fun to spin. So, I wonder if there is a build fit this form for me

Which league are you planning to play this build on? (if standard, i can help gear):

What type of weapon will you want to use? e.g.: Dagger, Wand, Sceptre, Mace, Staff, etc:
- I like something with shield :D maybe dagger or wand
What level are you planning to level this build to? (need to know for point allocation):
- as high as possible :x maybe 80-90
on the notes: if it's possible I'd like the build is tanky
Was theorycrafting a spark build lately, mostly for funzies.
Decided to work on a selfcast version, although a totem one also looks appealing. After some time spent with it, I ended up with non crit life/mom version.
Spark-spell echo-controlled destruction-light pen-faster projectiles-faster casting-(added light)
Pledge of hands, kaoms heart, winds of change.
What do you think about it? Life seems to be low, but there are 8! jewel slots. If everyone had ~6% increased life, this build would have 190% life. Of course getting ~20% dmg in addition to it shouldn't be impossible. We benefit from many modifiers.
Could also fit Pierce gem\poacher's aim in i guess. Should be a better upgrade than added lightning or faster casting in the case of a 5 link.

Hello there! if you have a free time,can you look at my Templar EA build? its based on mana and have double curse. i was thinking about eldritch battery but i dont think its good for this build anymore. i also thinking about where to go in future: more damage nodes or jewel slots?
i have atziri amulet to cut off some atribute reqs,and have enough dex on my gear.Also have that mind over matter armor,i forgot its name lol.
I will be very gratefull if you could help me with this build because its my first time ever making any build :)

I've been theorycrafting for awhile now to find the perfect build to fit my style ...
-I want something all around
-something I wont get tired of playing
-something tanky
-decent to good dps
-ok clear speed able to do high end maps
-something with range and aoe still efficient at close range
-I always wanted to play with both devoto's devotion and lightning coil as they seem to have a great synergy together
here's what i came up with (will start with a pre-levelled 80 toon i have a few)
-Looking down at the unique list i came up with more to complement em : aegis aurora, rainbowstrides, block corrupted stone of lazwhar
-then i thought how can i use the best out of every gear piece ?
-iron reflexes to get the maximum out of the shield
-weapon based lightning damage to get the most out of the armour
-pure elemental damage build to get the most out of the helmet
-no crit since there would be better options otherwise gear wise
-non crit ... so i would need to make a decision, invest in accuracy or take resolute technique ...
-lets use resolute technique since its near templar who is heavily leaning towards elemental damage and block
-here again, to get the maximum out of the shield i need high block
-here again, to get the maximum out of the shield i need to be weapon based elemental damage
but how do i get the most damage out of this beastly tank !?
-since im heavily into lightning damage and not going for crit piscator would be partially wasted so i went with hacyon's fury and doryani's invitation (lightning version)
will resists be ok ? made some calcs while tweaking the tree with the new ideas i went for
fire 26+54+12+30+10+20-60 (92) ok 76%
cold 54+12+18+30+10+20-60 (84) ok 80%
ligh 54+12+18+10+20-60-60 (-6) need 81 (at least 27 each piece) ok 75%
chao 20-60 (-40) (3x15 = +5 3x20 =+20) ok +5 or +20
with only 2 rings and gloves left to get the resists it will be tight but possible
now i need to maximise lightning damage so i will need wrath, herald of thunder and added lightning ... i might get a problem with intel requirement of these 3 ... need +- 155 at lvl 20 ish
i have 70 from tree so i will need 85 from these 3 gear pieces ... hard but doable
now the 3 remaining gear slot I have needs 27+ lightning resist, 15+ chaos resists and 29+ intel and life on each slots
hard but possible
what will it looks like dmg wise i made a quick calc (I am aware it might be off since im not sure on the exact mechanics to calculate dmg)
based on lv 19 no quality gems
total damage : 49-1197
total inc : 468%
base ias : 1.3
ias : 271%
atk per sec : 4.823
total damage :278.32-6798.96
avg dmg per attack : 3538.64
dps : 17066.86
the dps could probably be pushed between 20k with better gear
do you think it is possible to get better dps while being as tanky with this ?

Holy shitting fuck... the amount of dedication in this, +1 man,
First off the bat, lightning strike + Added Lightning damage = no go, you need physical damage to get more out of the damage conversion, so, maybe Fortify :)
Secondly, the skill tree looks fine to me, you've got plenty of block, some elemental damage, and lots of damage mitigation if block fails, so, it looks alright so far via the tree.
I just saw the last spoiler (im writing this as im reading lol) and i would replace Added Lightning with Fortify, because its probably best that way, since melee damage > Lightning damage, or... Phys > Lightning (shit son, you could even go PTL)
Now, just a tiny heads up, i know you didnt mention this, but to add more to my point of "physical damage is needed more then flat elemental/elemental damage" I would highly recommend not using Hyaon's Fury, mostly because its flat elemental damage, and thats only mostly good with Spectral throw and cyclone (since they hit super fast)
I can try and get more damage via the tree, but i don't entirely think that's you're intention, since you want to be pure tank :P
As for the form you filled out, with this much information you've given to me, there really isnt a need, since that form is for a build that is fresh, not rerolled :P
But yeah, you're lacking a biiiiiit of life, you can always fill up the scion life wheel while you level, other then that, tankyness/10 :P
If damage is later on a concern, please let me know, and ill change some things around! :)
I went with my first idea while using hacyon's sword turned out to be better dps with this build than a 300 pdps 1.5aps weapon (i tested it) using a 5l coil. With blood rage I have around 22k dps

only death i suffered were from the corpse explosions of the skeleton summoning spiders when 3+ hit me in a row without me blocking or healing
can take on any mods of any combination up to t9 (haven't tried further yet)
edit : The dps tooltip doesn't reflect the added projectile damage I have from tree
edit 2 : Do you think i should make a guide ?
