Essence Drain is a regen, not recovery. How should one maintain life outside of flasks with ZO?

I feel like you should ditch ZO/EB entirely, and go for Acro/Phase Acro like he mentioned earlier.

" They do exist, they're just higher ilvl than the +ele gem mods. Unless you go staves though, you'd definitely rather have a 5/6l than +1 gems on the ED. IGN HaukiFlash

" I am using the MOM/EB/ZO setup For gem link Essence Drain 4L is just with the 3 new chaos support. For 5L/6L, I will say empower / faster proj / iir but definitely not slower proj. Slower proj has MORE damage, but will make essence drain projectile slower. Unlike bow skills or other projectile skills, ED's projectile is really slow, with slower proj it will be even slower and may not hit the target you want. Link with faster proj will see the big difference, but I suggest getting proj speed from wand and skill tree,save this link to other gem. 4L Contagion - Faster Casting - increase AOE - flame dash 4L Spell totem - wither - fasting casting - increased duration 3L blasphey with 2 curses: temporal chain with enfeeble or vulnerability other link may involve your desired cwdt, golem On top of two curse auras, I also run disipline which is 105% mana reservation. So I have 6% reduced mana reserved from tree. 1 node and conqueror's efficiency jewel. |

" Tnx mate. This is first time to play poe, therfore I'm not sure about mechanics. I've watched Lightshard's build for 2 days and he decided to pick Acro/Phase Acro, not picked MOM/EB/ZO yet. Do you think is it worth to pick all of them? |

Hi,
I am trying this build but felt like change some. Firstly: I do Contagion with Spelltotem. This gives me Room to aim and cast ED and be mobile. Secondly: I use Faster Projectile instead of Slower as 5th Gem. This gives ED a good amount of damage and hits more frequently. And cuz I got a spare socket I use Vaal Skelies for hard bosses. ;) The skilltree is nearly the same. Heres my Gear and my Gemsetup: Skilltree: |

" Lightshard pick Acro because he is playing in HC and want better defense. To be honest, in HC I would not play Acro based char since you will still be one shot without enough HP. You need to spend A LOT OF points to go to Acro, I would rather use them to get more HP and ES to avoid being one shot. This build is not EV based so not working very well with Acro/Phase Acro in my opinion. |

I would really like to try the Acro/Phase Acro version, but getting the rights colors on pure evasion gear make it way too overpriced.
I can't manage to define what would be better between MoM/EB/Zo and just normal Life/ES. Also i was wondering, for peole who went MoM/EB/ZO, do you think The Blood Dance would be a good option for this build or not ? IGN: Mynesa
