GGG Please for the love of god

overcapped resistances? my god you people are ridiculous, you really don't see how broken this would be? hahahah
You didn't notice how broken OP (for the current game) all Ascendancy passives seem to be?

Changes like Ascendancy classes and their "OP" passives move things from having wealth to buy uber gear into having correct passives and good builds more and more, which is something GGG has been pushing lately.

When GGG introduces this many powerful passives and items at once, it's almost guaranteed that a few of them are bit too powerful in the beginning (has been the case for every previous bigger patch). However, Chris stated that the content is pretty much ready so they have a couple months to balance it, what you're seeing now is the idea of the passives, not the final values.

Before calling for nerfs or buffs... let's just wait and see, shall we?

I feel like were just talking about discharge, if worst comes to worst Id sooner see them edit that spell than touch coc, mjolner, ascendancy trees, all this other stuff that is about far more than just discharge and only really seems to be a problem when discharge is brought into the equation.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

are you joking? CRITICAL STRIKES IGNORE ELEMENTAL RESISTANCE

I dont understand this as well, its insane as this is golabal less damage mod, having 100% more damage its not even comperable to 0 resistance its broken as hell.

In PvP it's basically saying "your critical strikes deal (at least) quadruple the normal damage" which is indeed completely bonkers.

In PvE, um, ignoring elemental resistance is definitely part benefit, part drawback. With Elemental Weakness, related curses, and penetration gems, builds in the current meta often reduce enemies to negative resistances, so ignoring that can actually be a damage nerf. So it feels more like this Resolute Technique type of thing to me, where you give up on the potential of negative resistances for the ability to completely ignore penetration mechanics in your build. It's strong but it doesn't feel gamebreaking OP to me.

It might ironically be the case that the noncritical half of the keystone is more powerful in PvE than the critical half.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

I'm going to laugh at all the crybaby complaints about elemental reflect from people who think the ignore resists node is OP.

This. In the current state i'm usually getting almost 1 hit by 1 rare with reflect. First thing all though when I saw all these damage bonuses is that they are adding more reflect mechanics to the game, and even like 3% reflect will instagib people without them even noticed where it came from.
But, well, let's wait and see.
