Path of Maps - Track your map runs

Actually, the alluring abyss has the following map mod: 200% Map Item Drop Quantity. So do you think I should instead have that show up, be cause we mostly care about map drop rates?

Where is that information posted? I was just going by what I was seeing in the overlay map, which is a base "40% increased quantity of items found in this area."

It probably stack too, so that'd be 240?

I think it stacks, so or increased quantity of items dropped it would be 40 (reflected in the overlay), and specific to maps it would be 240 (200 for maps information from wiki, and the 40 from the overlay). Personally I'd have it displayed as 40 on the PoM site to keep it consistent. All the other IQ/IR/PS numbers the site tracks just looks at, or are entered, from the overlay map.
Does it work with Garena RU ?
Yep, it's not server specific at all. It's all based on the ability to copy items data from the game. This data is then sent to the pathofmaps site, and that's pretty much it :)

Big announcement! A brand new desktop app is now available for you to beta test \o/

Huge shoutout to Decimar for building it.

This new app addresses most of the issues with the old app.

- You don't have to wait anymore after recording a drop
- It gives audio feedback when starting a map, or recording a drop
- It displays the current map, and the recorded drops
- automatically checks for updates
- easier to setup
- configurable hotkeys

It's still an early beta, and more is to come.

Right now, it doesn't support all the commands (like "edit", "reopen" etc), but it will in the next version.

So yea, it's not an official release yet, but please try it out and let us know what you think!

Download it here.

Excite!!!!

But also figures it would be out on a weekend I am traveling. I'm looking forward to testing on my return.
Thanks very much for your tool!

I renew, if possible and if it is not so much work, the request to include itemlevel in the info about the dropped map. I'm planning to start a statistic as soon as the new league start.

It would be of great statistical interest to relate the item level of the map to its tier, as well as to evaluate the benefits of the '+% magic/rare mobs' bonus and to calculate the chance of get a +1/+2 drop.

Thanks again

@HellGauss: I've just added this feature, and it's live :) So at least, we'll have the data starting now. Not sure about the best way to add this data to the map export. I guess I could add more columns, one per map drop, and set the values to "map tier - ilvl" or something like that.

Niuage,

I've been running the new tracker program the last few days, and I must say it is a vast improvement. Great job to Decimar for their work on the tool. The obvious positives of single configurable button to record drops, and instant recording of drops have already been stated, but I'd like to add no longer accidentally whispering or sending in guild chat random letters. That has been the biggest improvement for me.

There are a few quality of life/additional features I'd like to see added if it is possible. When a master is recorded their name shows up - "Master Found : Zana" Would it be possible to Bold the masters name? I would find it easier to see at a glance that I have indeed recorded a master, or if I am nearing the end of the map it would be a reminder to complete their mission (I tend to clear maps then run the zana mission and I have forgotten in the past).

I know the edit feature is missing, and hopefully it will be returning. If possible could it be added as a Note/Edit button? This would create a text pop-up that uses the same syntax as the old system to record either '> e' for edits (especially useful for UNID maps), or '> note' (recording Strongboxes, Tempests, prophecies, coins, etc).

Similar to the 'Add Zana Mod' button can a Fragment button be added. This could create a pop-up where you select the number of fragments added, much like the select a master pop-up.

Can we have a 'Special Map' button added. This would open a pop-up where you could select Atziri, Uber, Pale Court, Zana Map, or Corrupted Zone. For the first three the specific map modifiers would be added and the icon would be a Sacrifice Fragment, Mortal Fragment, or Court Fragment, similar to how the website displays Atziri runs. For Zana Map the icon could just be a stylized 'Z' and allow us to enter the proper information using the Note/Edit button. The Corrupted Zone could be a stylized C, or the bloody heart that appears above corrupted zones in the world, and allow us to enter the proper information using the Note/Edit button. (I'm not sure how many people would use this to track fragment farming, but it could be an interesting option to include.)

For layout of the application this would change the buttons from being a two column two row table arrangement to a three column two row table arrangement, with the 'Abort' button under the table similar to how the settings button is above it. Or that is how I would set it up.

I've been really enjoying using the new desktop application, and will continue to test as we are in down time before Prophecy. Not sure how many I will be able to run, but so far there have been no issues once I had it set up properly.

Side question, how do I delete characters from the website? I entered a character's name incorrectly, and it shows on my characters page with a % before it, and no maps run because that character does not exist (at least not on my account).

Thanks for the program, and the work being to keep it updated!
