Path of Maps - Track your map runs

Check out the last article (http://pathofmaps.com/articles), it talks about a few new features.

You can now record vaal fragments used to increase quantity, record the mod crafted by zana, and use a shortcut to track atziri's runs. Some of these were already available but not documented ^^.

As usual, please let me know if encounter a bug, or need help, here or on reddit :)

Question about the unidentified status. I use the > e command to edit the iq, ir, ps, and level from the overlay map. Then on the site it adds another 30 to the iq total.

Is this intended?

Current example is a jungle valley map. I entered this from the overlay "> e iq 93 ir 28" and the Path of Maps site displays iq as 123%. I am under the impression the overlay takes into consideration the unID bonus. If I want the site to display the same number as the overlay map will I need to just subtract 30 from it, or can something be done on the other end?
I rarely run unidentified maps. When you do, you can't see the mods, but you can see how much IIQ, IIR, PS etc there is? If so, the IIQ doesn't already include the 30% bonus right? If that's the case, I'm curious as to why you wouldn't want to have the bonus added and displayed?

Would you also not like the IIQ bonus from fragments to be added and displayed?

I would advise you to keep setting the iiq with what you're seeing in-game, because that's actually what I store. The IIQ bonus is just added to be displayed. So in case I revert the change, you probably want your maps to have the right value.

I thought the display in game included the un-id bonus. I'll try to corrupt a map to be un-id, and compare the numbers from the map before the corrupt to the in game display.

I like the way the fragments work, much simpler just needing to type '> f 3' rather than '>e iq ##'

Sounds good I will continue to add the edits as I have.

Took a few but I just hit the un-id corruption from a Vaal orb.

Started with this map:

Rarity: Rare
Demon Dwelling
Canyon Map
--------
Map Tier: 8
Item Quantity: +61% (augmented)
Item Rarity: +36% (augmented)
Monster Pack Size: +25% (augmented)
--------
Item Level: 75
--------
Players have Elemental Equilibrium
Players Recover Life, Mana and Energy Shield 40% slower
Monsters Poison on Hit
Monsters deal 86% extra Damage as Fire
--------
Travel to this Map by using it in the Eternal Laboratory or a personal Map Device. Maps can only be used once.

After opening the map in my hideout this information is on the display:
Area yields 99% more Items
36% increased Rarity of Items in this area
+25% Monster pack size
Area is Unidentified
Area id corrupted

The 99% is the map base + the unid bonus + Zana (61+30+8)

Hope this information helps.

Sweet, thanks for testing it. It'll be removed next time I deploy. In the meantime, log what you see in game, and the numbers will go back down when I "fix" it.

I want to introduce the concept of leagues now (SC/HC, and new leagues). I'm wondering how to handle that. Should it be set on the desktop app only, or should you be able to set the leagues of your characters on the site...

hi niuage!

did you make any changes to the to how the UNID maps are recorded?

i just checked my unid maps from yesterday and now they have +30 quant which wasnt there at first!
(i know because i check every map instantly)

i'm using the ahk script and recording the unid maps before entering which you would do with any map anyhow. it worked quite nice.
after entering i did >edit iq .. ir .. ps and everything was showing correctly.

dunno what changed since yesterday but now my (already recorded) unid maps are all screwed.

PS:
when you are in the map and hit tab to display the map mods etc. it already shows the map with the unid bonus. as you don't know in advance (either adding the map with strg-c or the ahk script) how much q/r/ps it has you need to add it after entering. there is no need to add anything to what is displayed in the game.
pls remove the +30quant unid bonus again as it is already showing correctly in game!

There is a conversation about this only two or so posts above this one. It is a known issue, hopefully to be fixed soon.

@Niuage:

For tracking league I would be interested in seeing it on the website. Here are a few suggestions (not sure how hard any of this would be to implement):

- Have a league command in the program '>l sc' for Standard, '>l hc' for Hardcore, '>l ps' for Perandus Standard, and '>l ph' for Perandus Hardcore. On the website have each league correspond to a different border color around the entire map (or just the iq, ir, quality, ps box).[/li]

- Same method as above, except there is a left anchored circle above the map name with a two or three letter code indicating the league(could also be color coded solid blue for Standard, solid red for Hardcore, blue with a gold border for Perandus Standard, red with a gold border for Perandus Hardcore).

- Once logged into the site there could be a check box for each league option and you would need to manually check the league for each map run.

- Once logged into the site there could be a check box for each character's name and that would tell the site all maps run by "character" should indicate this league (with the eventual option to change once the league ends if more maps are to be run by that character in the permanent leagues).

---
A suggestion about manipulating quality in the maps. We already talked about how the unID bonus is acting a little strange. But the fragments seems to be working correctly. '>f 3' is added and the site adds 15% iq to the number, would it be possible to add this functionality to other elements in the program? Specifically Zana level when mapping from hideouts and the additional bonus from league crafts.

For Zana it could be a really simple '>z #' and the site adds that number to the item quality.

For crafts we can already add the league craft to our maps and they are flagged and easy to see, but it does not add the quality the craft grants to the total. Is it possible to add either of these, or is the best solution to just use the edit command to add any additional iq from zana levels and crafts?
I want to avoid having to set the league on each run, so I think I'm gonna go with a section listing your characters on the site (they would be automatically added to the site if you run a map with it, or you could manually create a character), and you could set this character's league there.

I also want to avoid having players enter the zana bonus on each run, as most maps are run through the mapping device. Maybe I'll add the zana bonus as a property of a character, so you can set it there. It would be added to all maps, and there would be a way to remove it instead...

I straight up forgot about the bonus given by zana crafted mods, so that's something I'll add soon.

Thanks for all the suggestions :)

@Ruefl2x, @ChronoExile: it's been fixed. The unid bonus is not counted anymore, and the bonus from crafted mods is now counted :)

Thanks for raising the issue!
