Is this the end of POE?

I hope they make it to act 10. I know that I'll be playing POE until a better ARPG comes around, but this one has the huge customizable skill trees, etc that I am looking for.

I don't think so. It's true a lot of new games are being released, but I haven't seen a good ARPG released in long while. Specifically in the Diablo 2/POE style game play where loot finding is one of the main focuses in the game. There are plenty of games that attempt this; Grim Dawn, Torchlight, but these games have more generic items then POE or Diablo 2.

It never ceases to amaze me how victimized some people like the OP make themselves feel when they get burnt out in a videogame they once enjoyed. Maybe it's a sense of entitlement I could never possess or comprehend. There's always people like this -- they "take to the streets" to get some sense of justice when in reality all they need is a hug. You don't always get what you want. And if people don't give you what you want, I guess you'll have to do it yourself and make a better aRPG like Chris Wilson did with PoE. Life is a lot harder than this man, try to work on letting go. Everything will be okay.

You know a game is alive when it has those few people are are willing to shout "This game is ded" yet give no substantial evidence for it.
And before you note the flaws about this game, whether trade, casters, maps, latency, or any other issue altogether just remember a flawed game isn't a dead game. Sure this game isn't perfect. But it isn't dead. Instead of having a logical discussion about the issues at hand, you decide to just be another doomsayer. |
