only around an hour and a half flight according to Google Maps, but I'm still in Europe on the 31st... sorry.

I have decades of forum experience (mostly sporting), and based on experience, someone's forum persona often doesn't match their RL persona. Forum/text posting doesn't carry any tone and often we apply our own perspective bias when reading it... in effect we create their online persona.

In the past others have viewed me as argumentative etc based on forum posts and yet on meeting me in RL realised I am quite the opposite. :)

I CAN"T go ! I have no shirt ! GGG .... where's my shirt!? .... My social life is being slowly eroded by lack of a shirt ... and no,I'm not going to wash my old shirts so I can go,they always turn pink for some reason.... For realz though.

If it were a Brisbane meet I'd give some serious consideration to attending,but Melbourne is a tad too time/dollar consuming for myself to attend,taking into account my family,health and current financial situation.

Especially with Christmas around the corner,my boy wants a PS4,the dimensions game with accessories etc,etc,etc (game is starting to cost as much as the PS4 lol) and I'd like to be certain that my health isn't compromised for the silly season.

But I hope those who do go enjoy the occasion and gain a fond memory.

When people face their fears they are quite often very surprised at how little there was to actually fear in the first place.

It's a fun event and I'm pretty sure Charan won't bite .... at least not all that hard.Besides,if he does bite,you could always bite back. lol

He is, but he won't be able to make the meetup. He will be preparing to head over to the US shortly after PAX Aus.
