I'll just comment on prizes. Special MTX is the way to go, 100%. These are the things that really make players excited, and have lasting value to players, being able to have something that you can't buy and that looks cool.

Please don't reuse skins you're already selling, like Golden Seraph. That is completely meaningless. Make some alt art MTX, even if it's just a different color.

I'd prefer to see a better-tuned Warbands/Tempest league hybrid, but I'd also like to see you guys integrate n Warbands announcement system similar to the on everyone is already using before launching it. If higher rewards are your aim, then this change wouldn't be hurting anyone, and the theming can be done quite easily.

If that can't be done, I suppose most people would prefer flashback.

Also want to second this sentiment. I'm a big fan of recolors, and speaking as an artist I know it's not a huge deal to tweak the textures on a pre-existing armor to make a race variant.

(I was trolling back through the existing comments and noticed a few more things.)

#1 Ramping - I think you ought to implement rippy instakill, high-reward difficulty stuff in side areas. Seems like a lot of your active core would appreciate that. Otherwise keep the curve fairly tame.

#2 Rewards - Black Seraph, please, seriously. Also, there was a comment about choose your own rewards. Would it be so hard to implement a chest system like in the one hour races where players pluck their own reward straight from a chest that spawns in their hideout or at a set location in town post race? idk, just ideas.

Love one month events, either one I would be cool with. The Warbands/Tempest idea is the best in my opinion, but doubling the Warbands drops lol

In the prize subject, I think it would be more fun if there was different types of MTX as reward instead of one type split in 4 like it was witth Torment/Bloodlines League.

Another alternative could be effects to aply on normal MTX, like a glowing effect or different colors.

For instance, a MTX that allows us to replace the colour of the Vampiric Body Armour with a different color or something like that.

The correct answer is flashback event with tempest permanently on. Warbands is worthless

I never participate in events as I know I can't win anything anyway.
Same thing with races. There is no point in running them, as I will only ever get the crap reward at 10 points. The 40 point is boring to me as I rarely craft, and I will never each 100.

As such ANYTHING that will award players for just participating could make me change my mind. As it is now it just too elitist for normal people.
