5x currency divination cards are complete waste of everyone's efforts

You remind me of the person complaining that he spent 3k fusings to 6l, and got 15 5L during this. His complaint was that he spent tons of money on it, not realising that selling those 15 5L would no doubt cover most of the cost if not more than what he spent.

Except that your reading comprehension failed you while reading the original thread you are referring to and now you are using this incorrectly understood case as an argument in this topic. The guy that you refer to spent 3000 fusing orbs on a single item and he got 15 5Ls on that single item. How are you supposed to sell the same item 15 times over?

On topic, I still pick every single divination card but some I just turn-in in bulks and not even bother checking the results, Carrion Crow I'm looking at you.

but dropping any of them is RNG (with terrible odds at that).
and turning in one of them is RNG (you have no control over the corrupted modifier of the Voll, if any. heck it can theoretically turn out Rare).
and these are actually the more "deterministic" of the lot.

Divination Card was the worst thing to hit this game by far.
"Oh, finally a way for normal players to get a wanted item without having to chaos-recipe spam for 1 year?! Sign me up!" - They never drop.

GGG needs to sit down and rethink their whole Risk vs. Reward right now, clicking the most suicide strongbox ever and surviving it, just to get 3x Wisdom Scrolls is such a slap in the face.
Therenext we got all these amazing build-enabling Uniques, which are now rare for no reason at all.

Lastly.. Sockets/Links.. Why is this even gated by RNG? It's required to progress through the game afterall, saying it's an endgame goal is the worst excuse in existance when it's decided by a dice roll, but the dice is rigged to favor the house, draining players dry, just so GGG can keep the illusion of an "economy" exists.

A single card is worth at least a transmute/scrap, so I don't see a reason not to pick them up.

lol it takes an hour or two at best to farm these cards up, not a big deal
