Dear god no! we have poe.trade already if you can not make do with that then you do not deserve to trade.

The market is illiquid, and consumer confidence is dropping markedly. Chris (the saint of traders) Wilson's views notwithstanding, it's looking a bit grim for anyone who plays under x hours per day (being the point at which you have enough time to trade more than you... kill monsters).

Chris probably still thinks we are in 1990s and the game features should be as harsh as possible such as trading
auction house is great idea i would make trading viable
An auction house would put everyone on even footing. The 1% of people that abuse poe.trade will not stand for an AH.How will they steal your items then?

Whats next reveal the scouring method?Oh wait thats bin done along with alot of the scumbag methods people use to abuse poe.trade.

Yes its time for an auction house or GOOD alternate trade system. The 99% need to stand up.
Adding a AH will only "move" the current ones ala poe.trade into ingame. Can't see a problem here.
+1 for auction house

AH was so fucking bad that even D3 thought it was terrible.

PoE.trade is technically an AH as it is.

Just because Blizzard's implementation was horible does not mean that it was a bad idea. The current system of trading via the web based forums are too easily abused with web site indexers and I'm not talking about poe.trade. There are grumblings that right now people are using much more effiecient indexers (not available to the general public) that give .001% of the player base an unfair advantage. While there is no direct proof of this, I have heard it from several sources and if its true the current method of listing your items needs to go.

Well he did say an "in game" AH, so not sure why you refer to it as "offline trading". Also please dont make hyperbolic claims without some sort of explanation.

And everyone uses it!

Give the players a better, integrated AH.

Exactly. If everyone is using Poe Trade now, what harm will an ingame AH cause if it offers the same functionality with better security?

What the hell does this even mean? Again, another person so against this but offers no real reasons why it should not be so.

PoE.trade is NOT an AH. PoE.trade was created with a 6-8 minute lag time for posts so that some players with coding skills could use their custom home made versions of a PoE.trade like web trawler to find items within certain parameters and prices BEFORE everyone else could see it. When their homemade API find the newly listed item within the parameters and price, it texts them on their phone and they have 5 minutes before everyone that uses PoE.trade can see it and they seal the deal BEFORE it ever get listed on PoE.trade.

Then they resell and profit.

GGG needs to revamp this whole system, it affects everyone who trades.
Legacy items are BS
