For the people who price things at 0xcurrency...
You know who you are. You are not the people who don't know what your item is worth - those people just don't set b/o. No, you are the people who are trying to scam newer players. I've tried to approach some of you. You always treat your buyers like newbies, and then ask ludicrous amounts of low tier currency (for example 15 chance orbs for a gem), which in total would amount to multiple times the normal price of your items.
I really wish Poe.trade would just skip items with a b/o of 0, or allow us to set min and max b/o in different currencies (ex min 1 alch max 1c). That said, my tip to every newbie who will read this is to always avoid people with b/o of 0. Trust me when I say you will end up paying more than you should by very, very much. Love the games. PoE1 way more so than PoE2, but still enjoying both.
Hate the company. The scummy, lying, fake and shitty facade, the excuses, the failures, and most of all, the "Vision". Keep both of those in mind when reading my posts. |

" For me, I skip their items that are listed in poe trade. Since, it's suggestive that they want to hear offers which I reluctant to do it. In this game, whenever buyer ask for offer, walk away. They will never give you a good respond unless you overpay the price. Love, Bunny |

Welcome to to Dirty PoE trading 101.
It's actually very common practice nowadays. Most people that uses poe.trade knows they can use the buyout only filter so they don't have to be bothered with offering/haggling ect on items with a BO set already. Also many don't like having to deal with those annoying dirty as fuck shady pos people that doesn't set buyout yet set a 0x currency cost to bypass the "Buyout Only" filter. There's a reason why Buyout only filter is built in on PoE.Trade in the first place (many people just can't be bothered to offer) but there are simply too many shady fucks that wants a chance to milk/scam/rip off even if people usually set the BO Only filter to on specifically to bypass these fucks. Trading scence in PoE is like a typical underground black market. While there are some honest merchants there are still plenty of shady pos. I won't even bother pm those who set 0x currency cost... too fucking shady for my taste, if I wanted to offer I would've set the Buyout Only option to off in the first place. Last time I PM'ed someone for a ring with 0x chaos buyout... (this was 3 days ago) Me: Hey I would like to buy the ring xxx. Seller: offer Me: I really don't know the pricing on those I just need some resist with mana leech. Seller: offer Me: How much are you thinking what ballpark are we looking at? Seller: offer Me: 5c Seller: lol fuck you this is 20ex GG leech ring dude. (no it wasnt gg not even close). Me: nvm Seller: lol what about 10ex? Seller: lol fuck you noob. sigh... maybe one day PoE can get a real trading system. The real hardcore PoE players and the elites sit in town and zoning in and out of their hideouts trading items. Noobs that don't know how to play PoE correctly, kill monsters for items. It's pure fact, it will never change. Welcome to PoE. Last edited by Pewzor#2343 on Jul 28, 2015, 5:23:02 AM

" This happens to each of us. There is just one prick that won't spill the buyout in mind until you put an offer, they will then say their megalodon price LOL It's disgusting. Love, Bunny |

As above stated, just set the Buyout min/max.
I never bother buying from anyone that doesn't set a buyout. I've never had any problems with trading. |

Just skip people that dont put their b/o in their items.
The only exception is when the object is really difficult to price or it's very expensive (for ex. Alternate Art Items). And they want to analyse how much they should ask for it. In this case is when the c/o is used. HC SSF Harbinguer : Templar Inquisitor, LVL 94 (RIP).

I have mistakenly priced items at 0 by missclick several times.
IMHO you need to chill down. The amount of angry people in the forum is disturbing. You have to be realistic about these things.

I completely ignore 0 X currency listings. I don't have time to waste with those people.
And to the guy insinuating it's by accident... lol. Yes of course, occasionally a typo will happen... but I don't think there is a single search I've made that doesn't have at least a few.. and often several. |
