Daresso fight is quite hard, any hints?

How did you slay Daresso? What skill did you use? Any hint for the fight? Thanks~

Only done him on normal and cruel... and each time I simply out-leveled the bastard. He doesn't seem to understand that hanging around waiting for a fight isn't a good as training up on the 1000s of creatures roaming nearby.

depends on what you are playing: melee or ranged/caster/summoner ?

I didn't try with the Melee Char yet, on a difficulty which fits my char level - but I imagine it's a lot of hit&run, and looking at what he's doing to know when to move in, and when to get out.

as a Caster/light-summoner, the way I defeated him was to constantly put minion pressure on him to keep him distracted. a Totem with Summon Skeletons supported by Blind works best for this, but I think Decoy Totems would too.
you can then keep attacking from safe distance, while keeping an eye out for those brutal floating swords of doom. these are your worst enemy in this fight. even more than his dreaded Reave combo or his icy "circle of pain".

Best advice is to keep moving around, make sure you don't stand in the middle of his ice copies, they can hit hard if all of them do
Damage. After he goes into bloody mode make sure you pop up granite and kite him until he is in normal mode again. He ain't that hard once you know the tactic

Have a flame blast + cold snap witch. I charge my flameblast as high as I can and pop him, then I run around like crazy while he burns and dodge all his crap. Sometimes I have to use flame dash, especially when he does the circle of ice clones or his ranged shockwave swipes.

It's a really tough fight but it works well with my build because I'm specc'd heavily into burning damage so I just catch him on fire and then dodge around while he dies. I don't really have to stand in one spot smacking him like most people.

Thanks for your advice guys~ Anyone did it with a pure melee? Cyclone, Dual strike, Reave, something like those?

Is the granite flask effective against his flying swords? Those things hurt a lot for my ev build.
