Servers/Stability Update

I still seem to have a few instance crashes on DC and I can't play on Texas because my ping spikes while in town (literally only in town) to a few hundred every 5 seconds.
CharanJaydemyr:some people need to really rethink how they spend their money....I will trash this item if I ever find it on principle...I've seen much cleverer "troll" items get turned down, so I guess GGG gave up trying to enforce that one. Not GGG's finest hour.

I've taken lockstep off and everything is much smoother. I'd rather put up with the odd mob disappearing than all the stuttering.

GG. Keep up the good work!

Things have been smoother (although not perfect) ping-wise since the 'fix'. But the lag is rare enough that I'd believe it's the ISP at this point. Still getting d/cs though - lost two 74 maps last night to crashes and upon relogging, d/c every time you try to port back into the map.

So happy to hear that! I hope this update will solve latency spikes problem, it make game almost unplayable

Are you sure it wasn't an issue with our ISPs, Chris?

Is this announcement premature?
PoE is unbearable and unplayable at the moment. Lag spikes and disconnects, just like every day since The Awakening went live and completely unlike any recent time prior to The Awakening. But despite all evidence to the contrary, I'm sure I will hear "it's all on my side" and that I should "call my ISP" while I "update my drivers" and then "defrag my hard drive". |

I'm still having heavy lag, up at 400+ latency. Living in Sweden with fast and stable internet, with no lag and very low latency in other games. Using the fastest gateway for me (Amsterdam).
