only that's fucking boring. I JUST GOTTA PLAY!
since I have no hope for significant game design improvements in this game I am officially done with Path of Exile. done for good

Well the more important thing... he is hurting himself, not others. A lot more people should do that.
The bigger issue with streamers that spend a lot of time in such games (and often rightfully, because it is also their income) is that they make it look easy to do this. And now with how easy streaming gets a lot of people might think they can just do the same.

yep in case of cheating and rmt
Mind you, maligning players without evidence is against the forum rules.
even with evidence it is, that's why people couldnt post evidence long known about some of the players that were recently banned in 2.0. (search reddit and you will find it most likely though)
Dunno about Havoc btw, just correcting what you said, a few famous streamers left the spotlight with that small banwave.
EDIT: though people can often post links to reddits discussing such if they dont outright say X is cheating scum (usually not on OP). I dont know anymore. Moderators inconsistency I guess. (though really, I think naming and shaming with evidence should be allowed)

I've said this before about Etup - that lifestyle is incredibly unhealthy. I worry about him. I also worry about threads like this enabling and encouraging it... praising it even. I kinda wish he devoted the time to solving cancer or something. I sure as hell would offer praise in that case.
My thoughts exactly.

What a bunch of BS.
It's not on anybody to judge what makes other people happy. Everybody has addictions, society dictates which ones are considered "healthy" and which are not. I applaud people who pursue what makes them happy irrelevant of how society judges them.

The ladder isnt worth following. The same guy always wins. its only interesting if the stars align and he gets killed off by some shitty mod combo.
Or he fall asleep once again whilst streaming and dies to the most stupidest things in the game

Still feel scammed I can't have my Closed Beta Support Title anymore.

Whether you want to believe it or not, the reality is that someday in the future he will not be playing Path of Exile anymore. And when that day comes, he will realize that for the last 5+ years he had done nothing with his life other than play Path of Exile each and every day for 16-22 hours and that he knows nothing of the outside world. He will be lost, confused and lonely. Unless he has wealthy parents supporting him or was left a vast inheritance, he will be on the street, visiting soup kitchens twice a day and waiting in line at the shelter each night.
Never seeing the sunlight is not healthy human behavior. Heroin doesn't make heroin addicts 'happy'. The artificial happiness they get from shooting up comes from the fact that their withdrawal symptoms will be dissipated for a few hours. They don't do it because it makes them happy. They do it because they need it. People like Etup need PoE or games like it because they don't know how to function without dedicating their life to a game. If video games suddenly ceased to exist, do you think he would simply go about his life? There would be severe depression, a complete loss of identity, and most likely suicidal thoughts.
You're also missing the point Brights was making about curing cancer. You could not cure cancer in the 5 minutes it took you to write that post. Etup, however, has spent at least 10,000 hours playing PoE; probably a hell of a lot more than that. That sort of dedication and time investment has great potential in the world. Unfortunately when that amount of time is spent playing a game, it does no good for anybody, most of all the player. All he is doing is lessening his potential as a human being - his entire existence consists of sitting in a dark room staring at a screen.

Now that is one salty post. Why the hell do you care so much? Let other people do what they want to do for crying out loud. You come across as nothing other than pathetic.
