HI, first of all big thanks to Viviere and Krux for this incredible guide!! I'm leveling a Marauder (love how it looks ) and have bought almost all the gear for the EB/MoM build, just bought a +1 Voidbringer for 100 ex, expensive as hell but it seemed they were the cheapest ones availabe, hope they are worth its price!!
Now I just have to buy a few remaining gems and jewels, I've one question, would be nice to buy level 21 Discharge ? Thanks in advance | |
" Just want to add a note on the text I highlighted in bold letters, Aside from Atziri's Flameblast and Malachai Smash, I can tank everything else so far with the "Armor Life MoM/EB" build version. In my Uber Atziri Guide video, you can clearly see I was hit by Vaal Duo Smash, and I lived. However, at the time of making the video I though I may have survived because I was only "clipped" by the smash since I was at the edge of the animation. Then, in the run right after that I died on trash before the Vaal fight (silence pack, had no Curse flask on... /facepalm) and I turned off recording. Ironically, I killed one Vaal, the other enraged and immediately Smashed me in the face directly. I lived again (just like in the video) with about 10% life left. Having said that, I won't make any claims regarding Build Version 3 being able to tank Vaal Duo Smash until I have it posted on video, but IT DID in fact happen to me. Sorry If I dont skim through the whole Thread but I couldnt find a mentioning of The Magnate in all builds.
Any special Reason why all builds are without it? I recently build the version 2 mjölner aswell but went with the increased charge generation as it seemed so inconsistent without it. Granted im not yet using voidbringer gloves but is that really enough to make the difference in terms of crit consistency? EDIT: And right as I posted this Question I found I assume the loss of 33% increased gained flask charges compared to stats gained is here more easily visible .. still I feel in an HC setting having 100% secure flasks is more important in the long run? " Thank you kindly Tindalos, glad you're enjoying the build. 100ex for Void+1 is way overpriced of course, the item itself on its' own is not that good. However, it fits into this build like a dream. While some of us paid for it in the 20-35ex range, popularity of the gloves may have risen recently and when that's coupled with their rarity, people selling it will hike the price. To your question about the 21/20 Discharge, yes you're 100% right. Personally, I can't explain why I never bought it lol. I've had two people asking me about that today, so I'll get it now. Well prior to buying them I tried corrupting 12 Voidbringer and had no luck, at least I got a pair with Ele Weakness on Hit I sold for 25 ex so I could win back my money, but still I was seeing it gonna be a pain to buy + corrupt til getting the +1 desired ones. Now I'm looking onto another item that might fit well with this build, Headhunter, what do u think about it? Would be nice? What about 21/20 ball lightning? Headhunter is a "fun" item, but that's all it is imo. Mine is sitting in the Guild stash and is sporadically used by the missus on her chars. Assuming you're using Devoto's Devotion, you won't be short on DEX points really. STR on the other hand, the more you have the better. That's why I went with a high STR/Life/Armor/Resistance belt.

Hey, Really love that guide explanation of things but there are some stuff i wanna know before i apply it :D
Iam fairly new in game managed to get a non legacy mjolner and 5L kingsguard , romarias ring and now i will be spending every orb i have and sell my pants to get volls amulet :D only missing item will be voidbringer which i will buy later after i buy the amulet , so regarding leveling, when can i equip my stuff and start using the build as a whole? and regarding requirements of mjolner will it be dependant on gear or i have to sacrifice points to put in STR/INT? the point of not wanting to waste points is that i will not be able to get a +1 void bringer or a lvl 3 empower/enlighten, which will require spending more points in tree as its mentioned, and in that case i will have a specific resist not capped as i will have to run 1 purity + grace? or grace not important and i can run 3 purities? Also if i wasnt able to get jewels like u have , Would that affect me much? and what modes of the 4mods in jewel i should focus to get first? Sorry for the noob questions :D just too excited for the build and at same time spending all i have on items makes me afraid to fail with the build :D Greetings ^^ | |
" well, without the volls amu, you have no life regen/leech, so i cant really reccomend that you transition before you get that! as for str/int requirements, yes, rares are important! + 1 voidbringers have become really expensive because of this build, so id reccomend you buy voidbringers and try to corrupt them yourself. if you cant get a + 1 void, just grab 1 extra node of mana reduction, and drop empower with your auras | |
