Computer randomly shuts down while playing PoE

I had the same problem on my computer. The game would randomly shut down and I could rarely play the game for more than 5 minutes. I discovered that the problem was in my BIOS settings for the Z97A motherboard. I had used the EZ tuning wizard to automatically optimize my system for gaming. I tried resetting my BIOS to default settings and have not had one problem since.

Sorry for ressurecting a post from 2015, but this has started happening to me since the latest patch. In both (2) occasions I was playing in Act II.
