Desync can't be fixed, it's a name used by the devs instead of saying "LAG" so it doesn't sound like it can't be fixed.

Not sure if know why the game desyncs at all. Desync can be fixed extremely easy if they 100% trust the cilent, it desyncs alot because it needs update what you done to the server and relay it back to you constantly. So people with shitty internet connections can play the game, but when the information is delayed or behind you "desync". Problem with that is it's extremely easy to hack the game. Thus they don't trust you much at all and put you through alot of hoops making it desync more often.

But they are implementing something called "lockstep" which is basically what every other game is, ping + if you have shitty internet you lag/delayed commands. A continuous upstream to the servers of what your doing, much like dota2/league of legends/ect.

I would never NOT play a game because of slightly dated graphics.. The core game is what is important imo

Glad to have you back, but truth be told that comment from you rancor's me. A lot of people I know enjoy PoE because of its breadth and depth, not how pretty it looks. D3 is a gorgeous game, but compared to PoE its extremely simple on just about every level you can think of...
