Still no move only/force move keybind.
I'm aware you can set it to your bar but then you sacrifice a skill for something that is a standard option in D3 and Marvel Heroes.
Please let us bind move only to a key. This has been suggested many times over the years and its one of the main reasons I've never truly gotten into PoE. Last bumped on Mar 17, 2016, 9:12:09 AM

you get more slots than d3 tho, that game as 6 skill slots, this has 8. I think a lot of people want move only on their mouse, which takes away one of their slots if u see what I mean? people who have it on their keyboard, if they didt sacrifice a slot thats kind of pushing you towards using a key for it. I use a key, I have skills on my mouse, I hear what youre saying but even if you use a key for force move you still have 1 more skill slot than diablo 3 and I think the system is part of the decision to have 8 slots for skills/move maybe?
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" When I played D3, there was no "move only" option that you could set for any of your keys. This is one reason I can't play it for long because left mouse button, to me, is and should be move only. |

" It's always been there. It's called force move and its one of the first options in the keybinds. After two decades of WASD gaming I've had it set to W since vanilla. I notice when games don't have it. Marvel Heroes broke it for a day in a minipatch and I just logged out until it was back. And to the person that says waste a skill slot, well each game is balanced around how many skills slots you can use. That's just a terrible suggestion. |

" I just checked and the only place that force move is shown is in the keybinding menu. So most noobs would still complain on the forums or in in-game chat that there should be a force move, and then be told where to find it. Yet not only noobs don't know it, since I didn't think D3 had it. Yet I can't set it to left click, so it still isn't as playable as other games to me. |

THIS
IS NOT DIABLO 3! Why do you compare it to a different game? I also think 8 skillslots are not enough. Not everyone is a one-skill-user because... you know... always pressing the same button for the same skill is... boring. |

Rather than a specific "move only" keybind, a few extra available keybinds for skills could prove useful to many players. Players requiring one of those for a movement only slot could use it this way.

" Because PoE and D3 are quite similar. That's why. If people were comparing it to games that were actually different, we'd be talking more about Starcraft, Supreme Commander, Minecraft, Outlast, Magicka, and Fallout: New Vegas. The comparisons have reasons. |

" That's not the point. According to that logic GGG would have to do everything exactly as it is in D3 which would result in D3 named Path of Exile. The logic can also be reversed. Why does D3 only has 6 and not 8 skillslots like PoE? The problem I have is not the comparison itself but using it as a reason why PoE shouldn't have more slots. IT STILL IS A DIFFERENT GAME, even when the GENRE is the same. |
