" I concur. I did the ladder thing when I first started (Ambush then Rampage) but whats the point really if I can only play 1-2 hrs per day. I'll never be competitive thats for sure. And not only that I had a hard time even feeling full power of 20/20 gems before they end. STD rocks Ladders are worse for guys like me. Back to discussion at hand even a lowbie like me can appreciate no likes bait and switch. You should keep exactly what you paid for and struggled to get. Git R Dun! I have a dragon hunger kriss cause thats the sort of dagger I like, if youre a speed dagger man then its always gonna be ambusher. A close to perfect kriss is what? 470 pdps? Current ambusher = 555 pdps... now its 538? Really not a big deal, even if they nerfed it to 500 would still be higher pdps than a perfect slow dagger. Look at my shop bunchs of choas items i sell daily when i log in. It has a healthy economy all around. Way I see standard is lowbies like me who only play 1-2 hrs a day can make progress and get GG. Maybe takes a whole year. I can never do that in ladder. Other-way i see it is ppl just want to be super OP with legacies and mirrors. Point is it offers a lot to ppl so dont hate. Git R Dun!

" Look, I was an standard player. But it is true that it doesn't matter how much content there is available, standard gets just boring because there is not a real ladder / competition of any kind. When you have grinded everything off, you don't have anything else to do. If you are not rich in standard, wich is the only thing you gotta do there, why don't you play the leagues ? Everyone starts fresh and poor, and it is much more exciting because you can actually reach top of ladder if you play seriously. I don't want to be a leagues preacher now, but If you are not rich in standard, you are missing out the fun on the leagues man ! I encourage you to try even if you have only 2 hours a day. |

A question of curiosity here. The strongest dagger in standard no doubt is Loath Bane.

Ambushers overall are already atrocious in overall real crit chance, base damage is way too low compared to demon dagger/plat kris, even the implicit is a puny 40%, imo all those drawbacks doesn't justify the 2aps advantage very well.
What I don't understand is why did it get the most nerf out of all bases with an even worse crit chance(LOL!) and attack speed nerf especially at this time when the 1.3 tree is just badly thought out. I'd understand the decision if this change came at the same time as the 1.2 tree which is very friendly to ambushers, but keeping the 1.3 layout + the new ambusher? ermm, yea that's just adding insult to injury only because a few people still throws daggers while wearing shavs, the build is now extremely inefficient compared to 1.2 LL ST but apparently they still hate it lol. "Get rich or die grinding"
