Legacy STD them and be done with it but changing stats and making investment worse is not right. It's like if you bought a V8 turbo and the car maker sneaks in you garage at 2:30 am and puts a V6 in it.

almost all my investments have gone bad.

Bought Crown of eyes --> Retro nerf next patch.
Bought Acuity --> retro nerf 2 patches later.
Bought Loath Bane --> Retro nerf 2 patches later.

Feels like im just going backwards :D

if you had given it a thought youd know that you are buying stuff that is WAY above the power curve. and guess what - it still is.

people do not want 'best'. they want 'a lot better than others' stuff'. when the gap shrinks - the tears are real

I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I don't believe they could have. Duped currency has no flags, and there aren't any identifiers to track currency or its use. If a dupe occurs and there's not an obvious flag (like making tons of perfect weapons in record time), then GGG probably have no recourse.

To the nerf itself: not sure I see the point. It will undoubtedly annoy everyone who has one (I'm sure a couple of rage quits will ensue) and doesn't really change much. People will still be walking around with 200-300 dps daggers, looking at this 538 dps monster and wondering why they can't find anything reasonable inbetween.

As to the mention of using Loath Bane for CoC... yeah, no. Spell dmg needed.

Power Creep incoming. New more OP shit obviously will surpass the old stuff. It is obvious and it is going to happen, otherwise it would be boring as fuck. GGG is no economy governor, they don't set up market prices. Today a mirror is worth 200 exa, tomorrow 1 chaos if they introduce a new, game changing currency. Loath bane was worth mirror yesterday, today is worth 150 exa.

And that's all about it :D

Anyway, the only one caring about this is standard people and it is pretty ridiculous given the fact standard is boring as fuck and its only point is playing hotel AKA I am richer than you.

But yeah its fun watching people's tears on economy crackdown haha
