Solo Yolo 5 day ~ Any advice from you self found players?

theres nothing limited about playing solo..

I am a solo player, but thank you for your most useful advice and input on this subject. It is greatly appreciated :P
Playing solo is actually easier because you are the one controlling the situation and you don't get distracted by other player's skills etc. the only problem with playing solo is having less map drop chance. So you end up farming 70 maps where 6 people will easily sustain a 74-78 map level pool
Pray to the almighty RNGesus
I dont see any any key!

The "difficulties" of the solo-self found is not the solo part but the non-trading part...
play flame totem, its good even with very poor gear, its also quite safe

You have so much free time :>
Don't try to make a fancy build. Simplicity is king when your resources are limited.
In the current state of the game almost any skill (especially spells) can clear quite quickly when solo, even non crit. The crit - non crit gap isn't that big in low gear levels. Non crit might even be better in some cases because it's more consistent.
-pick up pen/paper and do a littel quest reward list:

-you might even wanna "waste" 1 hour to mule something from the Merv quest.. :D

-Never, ever start or choose class, that can't have your main skill as a reward.

-Gear from Cruel Docks will carry you to maps (also those sweet 6S's start dropping here)

-pick up most of the blue ring/amulets

-always spend currency on Gemcutter's boxes

-pick skills that work well in 4L gear

-keep your flasks updated/properly rolled

-if Hc, don't do stupid stuff

-you will need to sacfifice 1/2 slots just to have right coloured sockets/links.. for exzmple, you are Eva based, but need BBBB or RRRB, the best slots to sacrifice are gloves/boots since these give you the least of your main defence stat.

Good avice, and it's far safer to do it with a Marauder and to to make it a Bloodmagic Flame totem build. Having high strength and easy access to lower-left part of the tree will provide shitload of life and life regeneration with the possibility to equip nearly any gear.

I've done a Flame totem build with a witch without going for Bloodmagic, and although the damage is a bit higher, it feels a lot more glassy. While my marauder can renew totems endlessly, my witch has to manage mana carefully.
