Whats the Best Defence for Melee Characters?

Guys i agree with what you say about some skills being overpowered or maybe easier to start with but my case was different!I have a level 87 ranger and i was also playing a crit-arc witch on the 1month league but i tried melee and i thought this kind of gameplay looks and feels so much underated and not an easy option for guys that get into the game!So i posted this question to get some answers from more experienced players than me!I mean i was stacking Dps and attack speed like a fool and then one day i thought WTF is wrong with my survavibility.. :P So guys i guess there are easy builds and others that need more investment but in my opinion melee is kind of difficult for unexperienced players! My mate is trying incinerate atm and yes it is an easy option from many aspects..Its far far better than cleave or dual strike and all those melee skills that u have to be in front of 40 monsters in a rare map with 5 mods and be able to kill everything without being damaged easily...Anyways i respect every other player for finding an easy combination of passives and items that works well so i respect natharias for what he says about incinerate..
