can't possibly get much lower than that really, but I'm wrong to assume you guys have any dignity, I guess.
On-topic: no dollar recipes in act 4. Yes to actual crafting, actual crafting orbs, and actual loot which is actually influenced by what stuff you bested.
It wasn't a 'someone' it was DirkAustin.

DirkAustin on probation... why? hes such a constructive mind.
Farming ledge with my level 90 char for 6 hours now and Dirkaustin is 100% right. No exalted dropped yet.
Your level 90 character farming ledge is considered the same as a level 68 character farming ledge, so your over-the-top example doesn't mean what you're trying to make it mean.

@topic: I would love to see exalteds being sold. Not for the purpose of trading with them then (so: no infinite amounts to buy like fusings or alts). Just maybe a vendor you can level up. At the end he can sell divines, exalteds and eternals, once a day/mission. Maybe chances are 1 to 5 orbs a mission/day. But something like this would really help the mid-tier-gamers to start something that at least looks a little bit like "crafting" in this game. It would allow to upgrade items a little bit more than by using the masters. OR it can help you to get more currency to pay the masters. 2 Eternals for a mod is nothing any "normal" gamer would ever do.
The Sirus fight is a disgrace.

Meh, if exalteds can be sold, they will go down on price quick. They are not that useful to begin with. Not that I would care if that happens.
I wouldn't mind that if with those orbs, you can buy orbs that can actually be used for everyone at the endgame (I don't mean existing orbs, maybe a new kind of high level orb for mapping or something with sockets?).
Do you wonder why people don't complain about chance sinks? Because they can be converted to other, more useful orbs, so they self regulate.

I had thought about an exalt vendor only giving out 1 daily, or even a chance for it.
Something needs to be done to serve as a chaos sink. I really think a chaos to exalted recipe would be best to stabilize them both.

It wouldn't devalue exalted orbs. All a vendor selling them would do is create a price ceiling for exalteds in the future, while at the same time providing a price floor for chaos.

master crafting mods and Zana map mods can be used as chaos sinks. not the greatest, but it's something. also chaos orbs are quite necessary when rerolling high maps

The thing that makes exalteds valuable is scarcity. One thing that changes chaos orb value is how quick people can farm them. So if you can buy exalteds with chaos, then the scarcity of exalteds is no longer safe, so it's expected to have exalted inflation.

It would actually deflate the value of exalts. When money supply goes up the value of each unit of that money goes down in proportion. It is commodities that would inflate, which in PoE are the rare and unique items.
I don't see how that could be a bad thing. Kaoms going for 4 ex, binos going for 5 ex, tons of formally 1 ex items going for only a few chaos. Making more exalts would reverse this trend.
Right now it is becoming less and less rewarding to farm the exact same boss as opposed to a few months ago, a few months from now that will also be true, if the status quo isn't changed.

This is why I think GGG is cautious about adding more vendor exchanges for orbs. Each time they do, they add price controls.
