Hey man, there's enough speculation on these forums already, no need to go crazy.
Let's just wait and see.

No, I'm not comfortable with waiting or seeing. Let's get one thing straight: None of summoning nor chaos nor golems will be involved in the skill Summon Chaos Golem. That would be ridiculous. It's obviously going to be a Dagger AoE skill that converts 100% of physical damage to Lightning damage but cannot shock. You can't possibly read anything else from the phrase "summon chaos golem".

Obviously I can not be sure but it would be a lamer since it would strip chaos damage off its identity.

So its bad that we get more chaos damage stuff and its bad that we would get reflect for it? So its a lose lose situation.

FWIW, conventionally lose-lose situations are defined as situations involving two complementary (or mutually exclusive for those of you who are complimentary/complementary impaired) outcomes which both have a negative outcome. Not, traditionally, a single situation with a double negative outcome or two situations, one leading naturally on from the other, as described here.

Because reading comprehension isn't the only important form of comprehension ...

GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
I have the feeling that these Golems are going to be an alternative for ZomZom's?

Sounds like a more useful Animate Guardian/Gargantuan type minion.
I just wish they pay some attention to minion survivability as well. This game has more and more encounters with bursts of insane damage - rogue exiles, beyond bosses, bloodlines, Apex bosses etc. and I feel minions can't keep up. Getting all sorts of flask effects transferred to minions would be cool.

google anything with the word "chaos" in it and warhammer 40k alone would have gotten the job done on a coffee break.

i am thinking the chaos golem has some sort of aoe component , possibly a really tanky zombie with a built in splash component

or maybe it is this

animate guardian = iron golem
chaos golem = fire golem
and
....... = flesh golem?

Sadly, I disagree. Golems are conventionally, thematically, something that you can't just keep an army of around. I think it will be a better version of animate guardian that you don't need summoning material for. But I think the default limit will be 1, and this will *maybe* be raisable to 2 or 3 by the new skill tree.
"Summons a Golem from the depths, stunning enemies for one second. The Golem lives 60 seconds, takes reduced damage from spells, has Permanent Immolation and Flaming Fists on attack."
It summons a purple-glowing golem that uses slow powerful unarmed attacks, 50% phys 50% chaos (converted from phys). It also has AoE debuff dealing chaos DoT or/and releases poison cloud on death
