That's it! I'm building a summoner! Any reason is good enough to command an army ;)
new skills are always welcome but i hope it brings something new for summoners, they dont need another creep to add up to the horde, what they need is something unique like golem stats being based on the player atributes or even life/mana.

Ugh, no thanks. I agree that summoners need something more interesting for managing their army, but "make it the same type of gear check as it is for all Attack builds" is not more interesting. A gear check is fine, but give us more summoner-specific stats on gear (like Torchlight does), including on rares (since we only do it for uniques here), don't just make our normal stats apply to our minions. Eww.

just to be clear i mean stats not equipment, something like
chaos golem:
same HP and damage as zombies but deals chaos damage.
has inmolation skill ( every second deals fire damage around him over 20 radius)
can only build one

increace golem hp by 3% every 10 str
increace golem damage by 3% every 10 dex
increace inmolation damageby 4% every 10 int


that was more or less what i was speaking of.

I don't want it to be for 'summoners'. I understand it's most likely a minion. But I'd prefer if it were some kind of off-summoner-melee-character type of gem. That maybe scales its damage with your own melee damage, but also deals aoe chaos damage to ALL creatures surrounding it even the owner so that it's sort of like a walking Death's Oath effect.

Very unlikely though.
but then it would not be a summon....
